i got started in metroid through metroid prime 1+ 2, then later when i played metroid prime hunters...it was cool but the controls with the sylus put me off. Then i bought metroid prime pinball, that was fun, then i bought metroid : Zero mission and Metroid:Fusion. Loved em' - i never played Super metroid back in the day because at the time and age, i felt that it wasn't interesting to me, but now..oh man. If a new metroid DS game retains the 2D-ness i hope as an extra to include the original Super metroid as a unlockable
The set contains: Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence ...and they're calling each one the "director's cut" of each game - which is odd to me :/ I don't mind - but it would have earned extra points in my book if there was extra stuff like the metal gear 20th anniversary collection (the document of MGS2, VR Missions, etc.) and maybe if it was going to/plan to be out in stores - to have a pre-order bonus plus i want to add that there is an American flag and the letters -NTSC- and -U/C- next to the image of what it looks like
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-fe-49-en-70-2jtb.html Release Date - Mar, 2008 Price: US$ 34.90 I hope this comes out in stores as well!!!! kinda bummed that there isn't a MGS:VR Missions game in the pack, i think the 20th ed. would have been a better idea to sell in the US My copy of MGS on PS is a bit scratched, so i buy it in a heartbeat
"Hideo Kojima says that he wanted girls to play MGS, so in MGS 2 he created Raiden, more gorgeous than Snake." ...and surveyed High school girls (i think) gave gave their thoughts on it (see Metal Gear saga collectors DVD)
The opening codec sequence during the Plant chapter - Colonel campbell talking with "snake". The -Va- for "snake" was not david hayter obviously, so that should have been the first clue. and after during and end of the game i had mixed feelings for the characer. But i don't hate the character, raiden could have been somebody WAY different - depending on script and character development/situations.
