Well if the version of mgs2 is substance, it won't really matter if vr missions is in it. Theres a TON of vr missions in it. Also, the original mgs had a few vr missions in it.
Bah. If I didn't own the original 3 times *ps1, pc, twin snakes* and the other games 2 times, I might have considered this. Kindof new something like this was going to happen in america sooner or later.
I have only played the original MGS for an hour, never played the others. I have been trying to buy Subsistence for a while but I'll hold off and buy this instead.
Thats a fantasic deal, I might buy it. The only problem is with MGS3: Subsistence, the online servers are gone. :( Besides the new 3rd person camera, the online play was the only reason I bought Subsistence in the first place.
It would be nice of Konami to bring back the servers till MGS4 comes out later this year. I need my weekly dose of MGS Online, and I've been overdue since the servers were tooken off last year.

The set contains: Metal Gear Solid Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence ...and they're calling each one the "director's cut" of each game - which is odd to me :/ I don't mind - but it would have earned extra points in my book if there was extra stuff like the metal gear 20th anniversary collection (the document of MGS2, VR Missions,etc.) and maybe if it was going to/plan to be out in stores - to have a pre-order bonus plus i want to add that there is an American flag and the letters -NTSC- and -U/C- next to the image of what it looks like
If this is for real I'll buy it hands down. I don't trust play asia though so I'll wait and see what happens. I already have metal gear solid 2 and 3, but I'd buy this just for MGS 1 and the extra's that come along with it.
At first, I was disappointed because I had just RECENTLY found a sealed copy of Subsistence which I paid the regular price for (about $32). but, as has already been said here, it looks like the Persistence disc won't be included (otherwise they probably would've marketed it as 5 games, not 3). I'm glad I got my copy, then-I would've missed out on the ports of the MSX Metal Gears, and Secret Theater (I'm thinking that at the very least, Boss Survival would be squeezed onto the main disc). Now if only the MGS1 VR Missions were included, and I'd have everything I want (except for The Document of MGS2). Here's hoping that the MGS1 disc is a PS1 disc for more flexibility (unless they added features only a PS2 could do, which is doubtful). Also hoping that by "Director's Cut of Substance and Subsistence" they mean "3rd person camera in Substance".
