@slfite @Crowgasm888 @Blondezilla11 @Scarab83 @Salevol I agree - context is critically important in understanding the questions on this issue. However, I think the original point (rather than a broader question of misogyny in gaming/this game or in society at large) is whether it was reasonable for the reviewer here on GS to raise it as a concern. I think it was. The reaction wasn't.
@Scarab83 @Crowgasm888 @Blondezilla11 @Salevol I understand your point, however there's a fine line between attempting to attack social trends through satire and becoming that which you attempt to lampoon. That may be as much about the audience (and its flaws) as the authors of the game, however. It's important only in that it's these kinds of games that can reasonably be considered an art form, in some areas/respects, where most cannot.
Interesting questions that deserve better airing than they receive.
@Blondezilla11 @Scarab83 @Salevol If you find misogyny offensive then yes, it's very misogynistic. If you don't, as many here apparently don't, it's unlikely to affect you. It seems a reasonable objection to the game, from that point of view.
First feedbackula worth watching in 381 months. Please do more politics and social criticism. The idiots in most comment boxes on this site need some social Darwinism.
1080p is very out of date, for the record. For those of you bandying about the term as if it's some chalice of excellence, I recommend you search for 'xkcd on HD' and take any of the top links. HD indeed.
