@jonmar I couldn't agree more. I actually liked the old Gamespot layout. Yeah, maybe it needed a little sprucing up. But now I feel like this is going to be a labor as it is if they don't tweak some things. For instance, why do I redirect to another page to login. Why is it so slow? I guess the side bar is a good step though.
@sk8oridie44 I swear this rant was ripped straight from my brain. I've said the same thing over and over. One of the primary reasons I am not pre-ordering.
I feel like they didn't realize that they could have completed the story in a really interesting manner like they teased to us fans. And then start other stories using the other people's memories mechanic. Right now, it just seems like a mish-mash of crap that they are doing to spin a never ending (and honestly less interesting) story.
@DigiTMPS3 I agree. While watching the video I was like "Oh man this looks kind of cool" Then I had the realization that this had nothing to do with being an assassin and it brought me down a bit.
Perhaps they should have labeled this as a Templar game or something...so it could be in the same world, but unbound by the Assassin's Creed or anything.
@LimpTool Exactly. People seemed to miss the fact that they are doing the same thing as Microsoft in many ways. (Granted, they are doing some things right)
Although most of the news about the PS4 is great, it is unfortunate that multiplayer is now tied to PS Plus. So much for the "free" network for gaming. They've basically just created xbox live gold and silver - just not as restrictive...yet.
