Hmmm...I still have restrictions on my account. I'll give it some time.

I do understand but it still sucks. I hated how it just happened though, especially over labor day weekend, a little warning would have been nice.

So yeah, this upset me because it is a clear money grab. I know I know, this company is in it to make money but it just sucks. I share instant viewing with my family so this is a big deal for me. What do you guys think?

MOD UPDATE: Turns out that Netflix won't be doin this after all. They announced that streaming won't be limited to one device at a time.

These are the results of the speedtest

Doesn't look too bad. Using a wired connection does seem to help out. Thanks for all the help guys

Yes I've heard that too about having an ethernet cable directly connected, I never did try it out to see for myself but I think I might. I took a speed test and average download speed is about 11mbps or something like that. I am about 6ft away from the router but I will try directly connecting to the laptop.

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop, which I am loving so far and I was just curious to see how I can go about increasing download speeds. I usually range from 200 kbps to up to 480 kbps. Is that good? I am a novice at these things and I'd like to know if that's a good as it gets or is there a way to increase speed?

I've heard of TCPOtimizer but I am not really sure how to use it or what kind of settings to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

USA is missing too many chances but hopefully they will eventually score.

I am going for USA but I wouldn't be upset if Japan wins either. In terms of hot chicks, I'd have to say that USA beats Japan there as well. Some of those Japanese women can be deceiving.

I wonder if the hosts of AOTS need to take a couple shots in order to get through another day of the show.
