So I started playing Dragon Quest VIII again on my PS3, it has been a while since I played it on the PS2. Are there any risks in playing a PS2 game disc on the PS3 for long periods of time? Or even leaving the disc inside the PS3?

Today, when I turned on the PS3 it literally spit out the Dragon Quest VIII disc....I was like WTF

I am not sure if this is the best place to have this discussion but here goes...

I've been having problems whenever I try to extract a file that is in pieces. I hadn't run into this problem until about 2 weeks ago. I heard using download managers can cause files to become corrupt, is that true? Because I've been using the Fileserve manager, it just make it easier to download.

I've used 7zip, winrar, etc. but almost every file I download is corrupt. I can't believe they are all corrupt, like I said, I wasn't having this issue up until two weeks ago. I am using a new toshiba laptop that I bought just about a month ago if that helps at all. Any advice would help, thanks.

Jeez...they haven't even begun KHIII yet?! At this point I've lost track of where the story is going now. All these extra games on different systems has almost killed it for me.

I am using a Toshiba laptop with an i5core processor, 6G ram, its pretty good and I didn't intend to use it for gaming but when I hooked it up to my Dynex HDTV it was great. I watch anime and tv shows on it, my tv has almost substituted my laptop screen.

...will this provide me with better HD? I am really no computer expert here so I am turning to you guys for advice. I just got a toshiba laptop and my graphics card is Intel HD grpahics family or something. I am trying to play a game like Dragon Age II or Mass effect 2 on this.
