@mgsfan104 You're going to be throwing money at your screen for a while because Kojima hasn't even announced any kind of release window.
Expecting a release this fall seems too much to ask. Metal Gear Solid's gameplay has always been great and now Kojima Productions is taking the in-depth gameplay and applying it to an open world space. This project is ambitious and will likely take a while to complete.
@obsequies Beyond the in-game fiction, Kojima has made Kiefer Sutherland the new actor for Big Boss because Konami is utilizing a more complex motion capture tech. The newer tech allows the actor's voice and body and facial motions to be recorded in tandem. Supposedly, the results are more realistic.
For a series like Metal Gear, I think I'm going to get the absolute best version available. That version is probably going to be on the next generation of consoles. Although, it's cool if it's going to be available for current gen systems.
The graphics are amazing, but the new movement options (i.e. jumping and climbing walls), multiple vehicle controls, day/night cycle, and of course free roam, are what makes MGS V feel like a major leap forward for the series.
I'm hoping Kojima has, and will release, a version of the trailer that isn't fast forwarded in sections. I want to take in the environments as if I'm playing the game myself.
There's a lot of anger in support of a game that has been and will continue to be recognized as a great game. This game is going to sell extremely well and Naughty Dog will continue to make games in the future.
Think about all the quality titles that goes overlooked leading to the developers' closure.
