I have a really big hunch that this delay has very little to do with the state of the game. 1 month? I'm curious if it has more to do with what is/was in the release window of either date.

This is fantastic. I'm not a huge Life is Strange fan, but if this could mean more Vampyr :D

@sparent180: Agreed. Unfortunately, a lot of this is from the spoiler content-which I won't mention the actual content. It's reminiscent of much that has half-heartedly been peppered around, which I honestly don't think ND would do... but the fear is still there, nonetheless.

@sparent180: Not expecting something to be great, while a popular point of view, is really strange. When I purchase a racing game, I expect the racing to be good. When I purchase a puzzle game, I expect the puzzles to be good. When I purchase a story-driven 1-player experience, I expect the story to be good.

ND does excel at gameplay, as well. But that gameplay is a device to deliver the stories they have over the years. A game with good gameplay (or even passable, depending on the genre-defining aspect) should be a given. Saying that the game can be good, despite not delivering on its key component, does two things:

-forgives any oversights that professionals being paid professional money shouldn't be making

-paves the way for more companies not to be held to a certain standard of expectation

I intend to purchase the game. First, because I have loved what ND has done in the past, and more because it is more LOU. But there are absolutely zero reasons anyone should be expected to buy in anymore if the company fails to meet the defined expectations of their own product.

There's not a whole lot of companies that I could believe could pull off what ND is trying (if you believe the leaks) in TLOU2. I'm going to buy it, I'm going to play it, but unless the story is 100% solid, it might be the last of ND games I buy or play.

Fingers are crossed really hard here.

I really hope that the story is solid. I like the AC games, especially the recent ones, but story has not been their strong suit-especially linking the main game with "present day" narratives. Come on Ubi, let's get it right!

@onehitta323: I honestly didn't see how it mattered. I kind of thought she was heading down that path from the DLC.
