I could see it. With the playerbase of online becoming incredibly good at making money, I would bet they're seeing less in shark cards. They could easily pair single-player content with online expansions, and create a steady income (in addition to shark cards or a sub service, I'd bet.)

Even if your assumption about any kind of harrassment is true (and trust me, like the hundreds before you, it's not) it's really hard to feel bad for million and billion dollar companies that can hire all sorts of therapists to make them feel better about swimming around in their McDuckian vaults.
Honestly, probably a good decision. I was hoping for both, but wasn't even willing to touch either until after an exhaustive round of indy reviews. Too much of what R* has done recently has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Hopefully they go back to having limitations on the characters. I get wanting to play God-tier characters, but leave that for modders, or a toggle option in-game.
Def. didn't read the article, because I don't want to spoil it for myself... but if Elden Ring is any indication on how well I can get people to survive, oh, boy, they're all gonna die alright.
I've long thought that there should be more off-season (and mid-season) events. I know it'd be hard-because the players wouldn't want their likenesses tied to it, nor the NFL itself-but a system that introduced player "problems" (the kind that result in suspensions) would be great. I like the broader depth they brought to 22, but it still isn't enough.
While they're at it, we need customizable teams and stadiums, the likes the NHL franchise has (come on Goodell!) Or at the very least, optional color schemes for their pre-existing custom teams, and the option to use the different variants of uniforms (which also need a greater sense of variation) as alternate uniforms.
