In elementary school? I called my 1st grade teach mom in front of everyone >.> In middle school? I accidently touched my girlfriend's mom's butt think she was her. High school? I started talking dirty about my English teacher in Spanish and she turned around and said 'Si, tu gusta', I thought she didn't speak Spanish(she didn't), but her turning around made me freakout. College? Yet to happen.Fightingfan

Kids use to do that all the time to my first grade teacher, I accidently called her grandma once.

Oh my embarrassing moment was when I puked in front of the whole class. The teacher had all the kids leave the room and while I was throwing up in a garbage can all the kids kept patting my back on the way out saying "Its okay Cayla" or "Get better Cayla"

[QUOTE="ChaelaMcchubble"]Oh oops I did mean not in the medical field thank you. It would be lovely if people knew all the special medical conditions/allergies of their loved ones. It is good that you do. But as you a medical person you can't assume or rely that a person will know everything. For him not to remember is very normal. He could have it written down somewhere. Just because it is scheduled doesn't mean its not an emergency. It is sad when doctors don't listen to their patient thats why people need to "shop" around for one until they found the correct doctor.worlock77

A person should know as much as they can about the medical problems of their loved ones. If something were to happen to my wife I need to be able to state what her condition is, what medications she's on, what she medications she cannot have, etc (and vice-versa), as her well being could hang on it.

And yeah, if it's scheduled it's not really an emergency. Emergencies don't operate on schedules.

Well again it would be nice if people had that knowledge. But some people just don't. Not everyone is capable due to a learning barrier. It could become an emergency if she does go into labor though which is probably why they have a scheduled c-section.

You can't expect a person in the medical field to remember medical words. She could have pre-eclampsia. Most doctors are now suggesting women have babies naturally and will not do a C-section unless it is an emergency. When a woman starts going in a labor she can still talk so I am sure she'd be tell them she was a scheduled C-section.

TC-Grats man! I hope all goes well for you and your wife.

I assume you mean not in the medical field, and yes, yes I can. Or at least have them handy somewhere so they can let somebody else know. I know the medical conditions/allergies of the majority of people who there is a fairly good chance I may need to visit a hospital with, and if I don't know the names of their medications, I know how/where to find out. If it was an EMERGENCY that baby would already be out. It's not an emergency, but it is scheduled, so whatever her medical condition is it's been pre-determined how she's going to handle the birth, and thus not an emergency. My comments were in regards to the fact that if, by chance, the child began to come naturally BEFORE the scheduled C-section then THAT would be an emergency due to whatever her condition is. Then TC would need to explain to any paramedics that arrived why she cannot birth a child naturally because as you said, more people are trying to get natural birth to happen over invasive surgery whenever possible. Even if she told them, there is a chance that they're going to just ignore her. That's why somebody needs to know. Obviously in normal conditions a woman can still talk through her entire labor, but if due to extraordinary circumstances she cannot relay the information in a way that makes people LISTEN (it all too frequently happens that doctors just ignore people's wishes and go ahead with what THEY want, because "don't listen to the irrational lady with a small melon exiting her body, she doesn't know what's best for her", according to them), somebody there with her needs to know. Don't know why people are having such a hard time accepting that idea, there's no reason for somebody who's your 2nd in command (whether it be your mom, S/O, friend, whatever) to know your basic medical needs.

Well good luck. C-sections are not a good thing, planned or unplanned. Really scares me how many people (celebrity-started trend) just get them because then they can have the baby the day they want, rather than when it naturally wants to come. Due dates are not set in stone, they're an estimation and I know people who have let their pregnancies continue past the gestation period (gestation basically means, 'bake until internal temperature is at least __ ', not "GET IT OUT ASAP ON THIS DAY OR IT WILL BURN") and up to like 42ish weeks. Going past 40 weeks is completely fine. I'm considering becoming a midwife or doula at some point, so forgive me if I have strong opinions on a lot of things. I don't expect new parents or ANYONE really, to know everything, babies are a learning process. But you really need to take more notes on things, if you don't even know the name of the reason why she needs a C section, that worries me. If say, she goes into premature labor before the C-section is scheduled, and the paramedics get there and they're trying to help her get ready to naturally birth the baby so it can happen when she gets to the hospital, you're going to have to know why that isn't doable. Until she's in the hospital with a chart whoever is attending to her is going to have to go off of somebody's word as to why things need to be done how they've been planned, and as daddy you're the one speaking for her if she can't speak for herself.XilePrincess

Ok so call me childish, call me immature, but I am 17 years old, I have been having sex since I was almost 16, so the idea of the human body doesn't seem embarrising to me or anything. The one thing I don't understand is why girls in my age bracketare so horrifically against the idea of them masterbating Ok not all of them do it but from what I have learnt from previous girlfriends who don't seem like the "type", but actually do. My point incase is my current girlfriend, after some intensing kissing and the start of heavy petting I ask her if she did masterbate she said no, ok we went on with our business. But this morning I caught her masterbating why was she so adimit that she doesn't then I find out she does. What really gets to me is the fact that she couldn't be honest with me about it and from other exs it seems like this is quite a common thing for my age group, but why? Why can't females be confident and honest with themselves to admit to it ? JWNeonice901

Because girls are taught they aren't suppose to do that. And most girls don't want people to think badly about them
