I just get a far better experience on computers. I also preffer the aiming for FPS. The games are much cheaper too.

Please stop with this Halo killer, Cod Killer BS.

BF, COD and Halo are all very different games and have their own space in the market.

But IMO BF:BC2 is the best FPS out there right now and will be until' BF3.

Easily. Having a SSD for your games is so nice. Games like BFBC2 and Crysis 1/2 load nice and fast. I love Steam so much. Not having to worry about disks is so nice. I just open up the Steam library and click on what I want to play and it loads almost instantly.

KC_Hokie
Those cost like $1000.

No... I bought my 64GB Crucial C300 for $120... like 8 months ago. One SSD for OS and a few games and my other regular HDD for storage + other games.

DD has been my only way to get games for years now. Most sales on PC are DD. Games are so much cheaper over DD because there is no retail packaging, shelf space, shipping etc. More money goes back to the developer as well. It's also better for the environment. All my games are safely stored on the Steam servers and I can access them from anywhere.

The only downside is that you can't sell games you bought. Not that I want to do that with my PC collection.

This, and I bet most people who game on portables play them in their homes. So I don't see the point.

Firebird-5

Bring proof and not guess.

Well the 3DS is obviously not built for longer periods of use. battery life, nauseating 3D effects.

It's really not nauseating. Certain ppl may feel that but the general population doesn't. Some play can play for hours on end and some people can't stand it for 15 minutes. I have no comment on the battery life.

As much as I dislike pirating/hacking, I can't disagree with what's happened here. Capcom is notorious for placing content on your disc (of which you've already purchased) that you can't access. And then charging you an extra $5 for it's use. That's low down IMHO. If this was DLC content It would be a different story but I can't feel sorry for capcom.

OhSnapitz
It's such a scam now-a-days with DLC content being sold that's already on the disc. RIP OFF.

[QUOTE="Tetrarch9"]I really don't care what your overpriced PC rigs are capable of. Playing Games Like Uncharted and Gears of War in 1080p on a 42" is good enough for me. Crypt_mx

You can also play games from your PC on to a tv man, plus you dont need to spend a fortune on a pc to play games on high settings.

Agreed. I play my PC on my 90" projector... With better graphics than Uncharted and Gears of War... with a wireless controller in full comfort... I hate when people use this as an argument. It's just ignorant.

Since when is Pilot Wings and Waverace bad Nintendo franchises? Imo Pilot Wings for 3DS is the perfect way to reboot the series, save Pikmin for the Wii.

St_muscat
Agreed!! I loved Pilotwings on the N64!! It was kind of revolutionary for it's time console wise. Flying around freely in a 3d world. Waverace was a lot of fun too. I've been dying for Pilotwings and Earthbound for a long time.

To anyone still running XP on their gaming rig, you might want to upgrade your OS: Battlefield 3 is going to be Direct-X 10/11 only.

Details: http://twitter.com/repi/status/20028015661

Anyone disappointed? I'm sure there are plenty of you guys out there, but XP is nearly ten years old. Time to move on.

The_Capitalist
I'm not really dissapointed but I am an XP user. I've just have had no reason to upgrade until' now. Games still look amazing in DX9, take Crysis for example (which runs way smoother in DX9 too). Even Frostbite engine seems to run better in DX9. I'll just grab a copy of Windows 7 and I'll be set. Finally stepping into the DX 10/11 goodness, but my gfx card is only DX10.

Perfect Dark Zero.

I actually enjoyed it. The multiplayer online was fun. Maybe didn't deserve a 9 but a solid 8 or 8.5.
