@queuing_for_PS4 It's amazing how good the REmake still looks. I wish they'd do an HD collection for PS3/360/WiiU lol I'd buy the hell out of it all over again. Scariest game I've ever played, even to this day!

Now, I'm pissed. I ranted earlier about the game, but this video shows how Gearbox essentially committed fraud. Everyone should see this video, the difference between the demo and the final version is an unbelievable downgrade.

@jayjay444 @BrickMcIronhard Thanks :) Aliens is one of the top action movies of all time, and it amazes me that such a rich universe, with incredible influence on Sci-Fi in every medium, can be fumbled so poorly and so often (even later within its own film franchise and... ugh... AVP film spinoffs).

Someone needs to make a genuine Aliens game. Gearbox has lost the right. Maybe an alternate timeline where Ripley, Newt, and Hicks didn't crashland on Fury 161? You know, like maybe an adaptation of the Earth Hive comics?

I know, I know, full nerd territory there, but still, that's far more awesome than the retread of Aliens that gets cooked up here. Plus, Ripley, Hicks and Newt make for far better characters lol

@RatedRranger No tongue on the first date. Seriously, though, both as a warning to keep dignity and the fact that the Marine would lose a tongue in the process.

@jayjay444 @DrKill09 I love that Ultimate Badass mode has no HUD, and that you have to pull up the motion tracker to see where enemies are coming from rather than it always being on the HUD itself (like in every other Aliens game), but yeah it isn't great. I posted a big rant earlier lol this Gearbox fumble has been traumatic for me, even though I am enjoying it on a basic level. Still, wasted potential for sure.

This disappoints me thoroughly, if it's all true. I love Borderlands, and I was able to forgive Gearbox for Duke Nukem because they didn't actually make the game (just patch it up and release it into the wild, broken bones and all), but outsourcing and neglecting this game like that is shameful handling of a franchise that the videogame industry owes so much to. We wouldn't have Halo, Gears, Killzone, Dead Space, and so many other revered franchises without the influence of Alien and Aliens, and somebody needs to give it the videogame treatment it deserves (outside of AVP and AVP2 over a decade ago)!

I did buy this game, knowing about its faults, just for the fan service. Because of that, I'm enjoying it on a level more than anyone honestly should, but it is obviously bargain bin material and a waste of an incredible amount of potential that I could not recommend to anyone at full price. For all the cool little things the game does right (having to pull up the motion tracker instead of it being on the HUD is awesome, Ultimate Badass mode removes the HUD alltogether for more atmosphere, the music/sound effects are great, etc.), so much goes wrong. And the idea that a season pass of DLC is on the slab is just crap-icing on a turd-cake.

@chun-IDGAF-li ...It's a subscription membership... you end the subscription, you lose membership benefits, which are the free games. If you buy discounted games with PS+, you keep them forever because you actually paid money for it, but free games are membership privileges, not free downloads. Everyone knows that about PS+ already. You really didn't know that before you bought it?

Great trailer, fantastic use of the Moon soundtrack. Can't wait for this game!
