The RE-make definitely deserved number 1 in my book. It's still my favorite Resident Evil game and BY FAR the scariest of the series. It brilliantly paid homage to the original and turned many nostalgic memories against you to make the game feel like it's own entity rather than a retread (the dog scare was brilliantly redone, the new mansion layout made it easier to get lost, and OH MY GOD CRIMSON HEADS, WHYDIDTHATZOMBIEGETBACKUP?!?!).

Black Mesa is also fantastic, and I'm definitely going to be trying out the ICO/SOTC Collection sometime very soon!

I'd also put in a vote for Bionic Commando: ReARMED. Great game, fantastic remake!

The Resident Evil REmake, was mine. The moment I discovered that the zombies would come back as Crimson Heads. You never knew when they would get back up. I would spend forever trying to decide if it was safe enough to pass over the next fallen enemy, not knowing if it would get up and murderize me . That uncertainanty was really intense, especially when low on ammo and health. AND THEY COULD RUN.

That game also had GORGEOUSLY creepy visuals.

Oh man, this demo is great. I can't wait to see the final game, I loved the original mod for HL2!

Oh, well if that's true then yay! I just hadn't heard anything since that teaser reveal a few years back, and remember reading an interview about a year ago where they said they weren't really interested anymore.

@barrybarryk @BrickMcIronhard Really? Everywhere I look says they "indefinitely postponed" any development on anything Timesplitters related, stating flatly that it wouldn't make enough money to justify making. They announced something years back but nothing ever came of it.

@jhonMalcovich I read an article elsewhere that said Crytek gave this team the go-ahead. I think Crytek is so disinterested in making anything Timesplitters related that they don't even care. Too bad, they've been pissing away opportunity to do something with the franchise since they acquired the rights. Can't wait for this, though!

@PETERAKO @BrickMcIronhard

Last paragraph of the article:

"TimeSplitters Rewind is scheduled to release its pre-alpha test before the end of the year. The game is currently scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4 and PC, though the developer is said to be interested in porting the game to Xbox One."

Also, I saw articles on IGN and Kotaku talking about how excited they were about making it for PS4.
