I'm sorry, I know there are those who will defend Star Citizen and Cyberpunk 2077 to the death, and both are games I'm looking forward to...but come on, we're pushing a decade with some of these games that get announced, only to wait said decade for anything tangible (no pun intended in this digital age). Skyrim has been almost eight years, now he wants ES6 to last ten years until another installment, on top of how much longer we have to wait for it to be released? Is that what he's getting at?
I can literally grow a beard waiting for games to come out nowadays because of how far in advance they announce these things, and I can only foresee it getting worse.
They never should have rebooted the movie series into an alternate reality in the first place, in my opinion. I mean, for what? There was much that could have been done with the original series characters, and they just didn't do it.
I feel the same way about the X-Men movies. Why didn't they start with the five original X-Men and just go from there?
@mattsaroni24: I thought Advanced Warfare was one of the best I'd played, especially in terms of single-player. Not that I would mind something, as you say, more "grounded".
