I just hope my PS Pulse headset I bought last year still works with PS4. It's a pimp headset bluetooth wireless, 7.1 virtual surround sound with a retractile mic.

I could never support Xbox. Everything about it I hate and is lower quality than the competition.
(1) Controllers are just as expensive as PS3 yet no blue tooth/gyroscope or recharge batteries. Add $20 for batteries making each $70. Freaking $70!
(2) No blu ray (or 3D blu ray for that matter)
(3) no browser for 8 years
(4) no wifi for 5 years add $100
(5) RROD happened - 55% failure for 5 years
(6) Best exclusives on PC (Halo, Gears of War, ME1, Left4Dead, Battlestations, Alan Wake, All the Fables
(7) No free exclusive content like PS3 (Assassins Creed, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield, Red Dead Redemption, Mafia 2, LA Noire, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Far Cry 3 - all the big names).
(8) Xbox only has pay to play, timed exclusive DLC. DLC everyone will get and DLC Xbox gamers paying for xbox live still have to pay for.
(9) Xbox live gold members still have to help pay for servers via paying for online passes.
(10) Xbox live gold is a total rip off. It literally only "allows" you to access basic features no one else in the world charges for (browser, streaming services, online play & cross game chat). Basically the console is a brick without xbox live which is $300 every 5 years.
(11) As if Xbox live wasn't enough free money to M$ they put ads on your home page. The only ones to do that too.
Even if I could get over all that I would still have to get over past scams: Made Halo 2 for PC Vista only trying to force upgrades & dropped all service/support/games on orig. xbox as soon as 360 was here forcing paying xbox live customers to upgrade.
Oh and then I would have to get over the fact that M$ charges as much for their console as PS3 yet lacks everything stated above.
None of this is fanboy rant, these are pure facts that everyone seems to just overlook. I would not be able to look at myself in a mirror if I ever supported xbox.

Me I only buy 1 maybe 2 brand new games on release day each year. Games I know I will love and am willing to fork out $60 for. Outside of that I wait for the price to drop to $20, I don't take unnecessary risks.

Come on pay to play, pay to stream, no blu ray, no browser, no exclusives, no exclusive content, no bluetooth/gyroscope or built in recharge batteries. Expensive/limited upgrades for wifi and hard drive. Screwed over PC gamers with Halo 2 being Vista only, screwed over Xbox gamers by dropping all service/support/games from original.
Xbox sucks in every measurable way and has screwed the consumer time and time again. 4gb console is a scam. Then the $99 - 4gb console at 2 year contract of xbox live at double the cost - $240 for xbox live, $99 for console + $120 for a limited proprietary hard drive. + $20 for battery pack.

Best of all xbox live gives nothing for the subscription! They "Allow" You to access basic online function for the internet you already paid for. They "allow" you to go purchase a subscription to Netflix.
PS+ is way better, it's $10 cheaper/year and gives huge AAA quality free games. In 6 months I've gained 12 awesome AAA PS3 games, 15 PS Vita games including Uncharted and huge dicsounts/exclusives, free premium themes and avatars ect. While xbox does nothing. Not to mention Playstation also has free exclusive content in all the best multi plat AAA games like Red Dead, LA Noire, Mafia 2, Batman AA & AC, Assassins Creed, FEAR, Saints Row 3, Mass Effect 2, Far Cry 3 etc.
And don't forget that all xbox has any more is dried up old Halo and Gears...both of which have a version on PC that is free online play the PC way. In addition Alan Wake, All the FAbles, Battlestations, Left 4 Dead are all on PC. Bioshock, Mass Effect & Saints Row already jumped xbox's ship.
So xbox is left with nothing. They will probably rub out 360 gamers just like orig. xbox gamers and will try to force upgrades like they did PC gamers with Halo 2 (made it Vista only - no reason other than scam to force upgrades).
I'm sure xbox learned from RROD but it was still 5 years of 55% failures, still had no wifi for 5 years (add $100), no blu ray yet console expensive - why?, no browser for 8 years while Wii and PS3 had it since launch, DVD's scratch far easier than blu ray and M$ left out $0.25 plastic buffer...even in slims so if it's bumped or moved it ruins $60 game. And disk swapping like it's 1995 thanks to DVD only. not to mention old CD tray and huge power brick.

Oh and for the fanboys..xbox live is unsecure. The reason it was a big deal in late 2010 when Geo Hotz jailbroke PS3 is because it was considered unbreakable. Then Anon came after Sony for suing Geo Hotz HOWEVER NO SONY CUSTOMERS LOST MONEY. Sony gave great compensation and free credit protection and no one lost money. However XBOX GAMERS DID LOSE MONEY IN 2011. First Xbox live was down for 2 weeks in 2007, in 2011 3 accidental bans on xbox live subscribers (thousands of people accidently banned) and in 2011 (supposedly due to phising schemes) xbox live customers accounts were hacked, M$ points stolen and those accounts with credit cards attached to them had them charged for more M$ points which were then also stolen. Sony customers lost no money and no one is perfectly safe. Always use due diligence when purchasing online (like using network cards or having a separate checking for all online activity).
