Well when I said that Gears of War was one of the greatest games of all time, people attacked me. When people say MGS4 is one of the greatest games of all time, everyone is fine, even though Gears of War is rated much higher than MGS4.

platinum hits is copying? really? copying from who, every piece of consumer merchandise, ever? best sellers, greatest hits, that's just an industry technique, i wouldn't call that copying.

controller influenced heavily by the ds2?? how did you come to that conclusion? i think the 360 has a vastly different controlle, and i think it was designed from the ground up, based on any complaints from the original xbox controller.

and if something is rumored, you can't hold that against someone as if they are straight up copying it. that would be like if i heard you hated obama because he was black, and then calling you a racist for it, when that probably isn't the case.

i'm pretty sure i know a damm sight more than you about all these issues ;). For your information if the 360 pad is a evolution of the dreamcast, then the dreamcast is a evolution of the Snes. You just cant see past the 4 diffrent colour buttons. I am pretty sure you dont own a dreamcast, or a 360 so in that point wouldnt that make your oppion worth slightly less than someone who has owned every console since the nes bar the saturn and the ps3?

The snes controller evolved from the nes, then the dreamcast was probly the most revolutionary design of them all, i mean you can see huge similarities between the snes and the psone controller, they both have a Dpad shoulder buttons and triggers. How on earth are you meant to make a control pad Much diffrent considering it has to have Triggers/shoulder pad, two analog sticks, Dpad and four buttons. All you can do is change the plastic surrounding them. Which is what microsoft have done and done it very well, it is a far more ergonomical pad than the dualshock and the majoirty of people know it. Sony just cant seem to find a good design for a new one and spent farrr too long making the ps3 itself, so why not just give the public what it wants? In reality the majoirty of the public are thickle and have no idea what they really want till they have it, Wii anyone?

Wrong I do own a 360 and a DC. I've bought my DC since release (09/09/99) so I know what I'm talking about. The 360 controller is a modified DC controller no if ands or buts. The DC controller is a slimmer version of the Saturn controller which is not an evolution of the SNES controller. Sega introduced triggers so I'm pretty sure that M$ adopted the idea and added an extra analog stick with L & R buttons. Not saying that the 360 controller is bad, but its just not original to me. Sony's controller is perfect, it suits my hands and is not heavy like the 360's is.
