[QUOTE="jedigemini"]Cows and Lems are too busy arguing over the minor differences in graphics in their consoles to notice that the Wii is stealing this gen right from under their noses. Tylendal

Nintendo isn't stealing anything, I think now people are starting to notice that the Wii isn't all its hyped up to be. I had my Wii since launch and I havn't played it since January :|. Nintendo even admitted holding back on shipment to keep the demand for it high because once the general public sees too much of something they automatically figure no one wants so, yeah the Wii sucks for now.

I want to see a link, I am calling your bluff.

I have a link a few posts up but they dont admit, Gamestop just called them out on it and they refuted it. Obviously its true though.

Why? What's so obvious about it?

Every game company has been doing this since the beginning why would Nintendo not do it when theyre the ones who started it?

No they said they aren't holding back shipments, learn to read

It's our second "Nintendo holding back Wii shipments until April 1st" conspiracy theory of the day! This time, it's for a completely different reason.

GameStop's COO Dan DeMatteo posited that since Nintendo has met their sales goal for this fiscal year, they're putting off the next shipment until the next year starts, which is April 1st. DeMatteo expects to see Wii supplies pick up right about then. We hope he's right! Not necessarily about the conspiracy thing, but about the increase in Wii shipments. The 1st isn't that far away!

No, YOU learn to read.

No, you read this http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/28/nintendo-refutes-gamestop-states-wii-shortages-are-unintentiona/

Ok they refute it but do you honestly believe theyre telling the truth? ALL consoles since the beginning of gaming have been holding out to increase demand, the Wii is very cheap to produce so theres no reason as to why theyre hard to find.

[QUOTE="Vexx88"]what part of 1% of 60's fail dont you understand :|billbradsky

1% is obviously alot 1% of 10 mil is 100,000. I also think its 3% not 1% which is 300,000 which is an insane amount of faulty 360s.

Even if it is 3% then the odds of getting 2 bad systems are 3%*3%= .09% which means it should only happen to 9000 people.

If you had 3 bad ones in a row it would be .0027%

So all these people that are telling you they had 5 break on them are lying.  The system isn't faulty, the people owning them are.

Oh I agree the odds of having 5 bad 360s are extremely high and I think it would take a decade's time for that to happen but 2 isn't out of the ordinary from what I've read.
