Do I need a motherboard that has a HDMI port and a HD monitor that has a HDMI port in order to watch HD stuff from my computer like Blu-Ray movies? Or would DVI ports on the motherboard and monitor suffice?

And if I want to connect my Xbox 360 to the monitor for HD gaming, would the S-video ports on the monitor provide that?

Thanks

Hi, I was just wondering how big is the difference in internet speed, especially during gaming, between a motherboard that has LAN speed of 10/100Mbps and one that has 10/100/1000Mbps.

And I'm trying to decide whether to go with AMD or Intel processors, if all specifications are equal, an AMD CPU and an Intel CPU would be...well, exactly equal right? If they have the same clock speed, FBS, etc etc. would I be better of just going with the cheaper one?

Thanks

Ok I just read somewhere that I do still need the CD in to play........but I kept getting a dirty disk error before, would installing the game on the HD solve that problem?

Hi, so I just installed FIFA 09 on my HD but when I try to play it it tells me I need to insert the CD. So did I just install the game for no reason since I need the CD to play anyway?

I'm thinking about upgrading to a 120 gb HD from my 20 gb one, and I was wondering if it's possible to move all of my current HD contents onto the new HD (my Live ID, game saves, etc.)? If so, would I be able to do it with a memory card?

Thanks

Are there any available? Like the ones you get when you achieve accomplishments for games.

Yeah, I did, it's in the normal setting, and it's supposed to go to sleep mode when I close the lid, but it doesnt.
