not much of a difference in the screen shots, but really where the PS3 and 360 set up right for the screen they were shown on. How the system is set up on the display can really make a difference.

I'm planning on getting it too and i had a psp since launch and it's starting to show its age, cant wait to see if the controls are really improved with the raised d-pad, the rounder design may make it feel better for those long gaming nights, I hope they have the new battery covers available on release date ( I have an reg. and the expanded battery). Cant wait to get my hands on it.

Overall it was a great showing of games for all consoles and hand-helds, The big three press events weren't the best they could of been, M$ looking like an ad for there fall line-up, Nintendo selling to the non-gamer (not me but will print them money), Sony looking human for once showing off a strong line-up of games and leaving the power-point stuff in the pass. Loved the Gamespot coverage of the show there was so much to see, and more to be seen. Looking forward to the next show :D

Wow this isn't new this is a system wars topic come on guys if you dont like the system then really dont bother ....... reporting crap like this is really sad. Sure PSP games have load times they are on disc and have to be loaded into memory, dslite uses carts which dont have to load ...... since the cart becomes part of the system memory. This isn't new it's always been the case, loading on a cart based system has more to do with the console's processing power not loading into memory. This was the case in the N64 vs the Psx/PS1 days, and remain the same in the DSlite vs PSP era (man I hate saying that because I hate when people compare the two head to head). Then you guys want to discount starting games from sleep/stand by mode come on if the system is already powered on the time it takes to get into a game is cut down by as least 20 seconds. It really doesn't drain that much power to keep the system in sleep mode and it's a quick way to get to the other feature of the system (music, movies, net, pics). Hell I never power off the system unless I have to, mine stays in sleep mode. Sure it's sad that PSP games have the load times they do (some are fast some aren't), but for console gameplay on the go it isn't that bad ......... stop comparing it to the DS! Any system that uses some kind of disc is going to have load times, the PSX, Sega Dreamcast, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP, Xbox 360, Ps3, Wii are all system that are going to have load times, sure we all hate then but it's just a something we have to live with until the day we have digital downloads and all games are stored on a hdd........ but hell even that has load times......... just accept it and move on already!

It'll cost $229.99 and the package will include the system, cables, power cord, 2 wii-mote, wii games sampler (wii sports demo, metriod demo, music game demo, maybe mario, wario, and red steel demo), the vurtual console stuff wont rool out until the mid november and the system will launch Oct. 29 at midnight and there'll be a big party at the NWS in NYC to kick it off.
