the stories are good if you take the time to get into them, r2 doesn't you alot of cut-scenes but there a ton of dialog between the characters, and read the reports theres alot of info there. FPS games aren't known for story telling (save bioshock) R1 and R2 are good.
developers are getting lazy with the ability to patch games later on too many games are being released broken, Socom is a hot title with many people playing or trying to play it online so the problem is noticed more.
PSN works fine but game servers are on the developers, for the most part they work fine but there are games with lag it just part of gaming on the net. on your side check your router's firewall to see if it's blocking port needed for gameplay, try sticking to playing games with others who have a good connection rate.
Never really had a problem finding a match on cod4 so maybe it's the match type you're picking, team matches are usually alway full of others playing.
Socom may just be a server issue it's a hot game with tons of people playing.
Lagg is a part of online gaming that everybody hate!
gamefly is fine for me, yeah there are delays and sometimes you dont get new releases on time, but once you get use to the system it works out find ..... USPS willing. Also the buy it now options is much better than getting used games from gamestop.
If you're interested in the game go get it ........ why wait to for the review to come out! They may hate it and you may love it different people have different opinions, anyway reviews tend to focus more on the technical flaws of a game rather simply saying how much enjoy can be had from a game ..... but again this goes to personal taste different people like different things.
Rushing to play a game to get out a review isn't the same as playing a game for fun!
I do, but I'm really starting to think it's a bad idea they usually drop a spoiler when they show off the gameplay. I most stick to the writen reviews and watch the video later.
It's a great games and pretty hard too Dont compare it to CoD4 that game has set a new bar for fps shooter. For there first fps Resistance FoM is a great game, I'm looking forward to Resistance 2.
