Although it's a nice idea it costs way too much time and money these days to make a decent enough game that would make a profit. So it's not really worthwhile from their point of view.
The question is will there even be the perfect game, and I don't believe there ever will be a perfect game - I see the ratings as an intication of how close to perfection they are. But the main thing to take in about a review is not the score at the end but what is written about the game. As I have loved bad-score games and hated high-score games but but inturpretted the review in my own way.
Have bene following this game for a while now and I'm kinda pleased there's not bene too much hype as that can only raise expectations too much. it's nice to hear about a game where good and bad consequences changes more than character appearance and a label in profile; and that it can have a proper impact on the storyline.
Go for regular, I rarely find the collectors editions worth it, most of what you get extra might look fancy for the first day or 2 but would be worthless and silly beyond that.
mes I have gone back and completed, Dungeon Siege and Red Alret to name a couple, but I limit how far I go back. I never played Diablo 2 and Baldurs gate when they were released as I wasn't a gamer back then and can't seem to get on with the old graphics after playing games like Oblivion and Bioshock.
