I think one of the big game producers should run a lotto of sort, or essay contest so to speak. All based on a player idea game. The winner of course gets a game made on the basis of his ideas. I know I have an idea or two as a 35 year old gamer.....
Although it's a nice idea it costs way too much time and money these days to make a decent enough game that would make a profit. So it's not really worthwhile from their point of view.
