I've noticed these kinds of stutters in Oblivion or Stalker, but Origins and Crysis 2 run very smooth for me.
I don't know what to tell you. does it still behave this way when you lower settings and resolution?
Maybe they are there for me too in Crysis 2 but I don't notice them. It's normal when you enter a new area and it needs to load new assets and textures, you might feel a little slowdown.
Don't get obsessed with a minor issue, so you can't enjoy your games. If it's just small stutters I think it's normal I've seen it in loads of games on my PC, on my PS3 too.

... It's not normal. Games should run perfectly fine without any stutters, etc. (assuming your hardware is well capable of playing it).
I have the exact same issue with MW2 and a few others. Now, I KNOW my card can handle MW2 if even my 275 maxed it out. The other poster suggested your settings were too high, well .. what's wrong with that? If I have over 60fps consistently, but still average performance .. there's clearly something else wrong; on top of that, I purchased a $300 card TO max everything out. I shouldn't have to lower anything for what PC components cost. I'll have to try that virtual memory thing when I switch mobos. Is having 8GB REQUIRED, or is it just RECOMMENDED?
So, it just so happened to go out JUST as my new power supply was installed (never an issue before)? I read some forums online that different PSUs will give higher, or lower temps. depending on their output ambient temp. This PSU is guaranteed to output at >50 degrees (ambient).

Your Case has to little airflow, that is the only expl. Corsair hx PSU's have excellent efficiency and it generates very little heat so it dont need a powerful fan, with the very powerful hx850 and the rig in your sig the fan on it dont need to even start even while you are maxing the wattage usage, so your PSU isnt moving air where the older perhaps did so with a better PSU you would get less airflow in your case. This is the logical expl. if it REALLY just was due to the PSU change. I never build my PC's with the PSU fan as an "extra" fan, and i rather have more fans in the PC to keep temps low, what case do you got? Antec 900, and the cable management is basically perfect, and the best it can be. I'll have to try what the other user stated ... which is really a pain in the ___.

Welcome to the Spring driver bump. AMD Catalyst preview driver 11.4 offers similar performance increases. This is nothing new, that chart is comparing older drivers to newer drivers, apples to oranges, disregard this thread.BygByron3
I must ask... What are you talking about? What chart? You enjoy AMD? No problem but why so defensive over something no one is discussing? I think you came to the wrong forum with this apples to oranges attitude. No one is even talking about AMD but about their Nvidia cards and performances on different drivers. Disregard this thread? LOL.... I would say that: Errr ya I meant to post this to the "NVIDIA HAS CHANGED THE GAME" thread, my bad OP this is just a thread to let people know the new drivers are available and where to get them, my bad.
