HDMI carries both the video and sound from your source, some TV's have a setting to toggle which input is recieving the sound signal, in this case make sure it is set to HDMI. If you're hooking the HDMI to a reciever, some reciever's require a second cable like an optical cable for sound. The cable, I guess, could also be defective, but I would find that unlikely.

Considering the White House is usually full of old not so attractive dudes, he would be refreshing for a change. American hero or not, I don't think I could look at McCain's ugly mug for 4-8 years...

Verdict, yes he is good looking.

Kinda insensitive, but compared to other ways you could have put it, not all that bad.  But I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.

Just a word of advice, depending on your rig, downgrading to XP from Vista may not be as easy as you think. Microsoft's magic elves have spent a lot of time making you wish you weren't born if you try. I nearly dug my eyes out downgrading to XP on a Vista machine at work. After a couple Linux programs, about 3 formats and even a desperate attempt to downgrade to 98, I finally got Vista off and XP installed. Though it's all a blur.

And yeah I gave Vista a shot, but I'm on the Internet almost all day at work and Vista just made the Internets slow as a snail.   Tried some tweaks but ended up going back to XP after 2 days of banging my head against the wall.

Do I like it?

It looks sexy, but was like using the Internet in 1995.

I can't remember staying on one of them long enough to have a favorite. Was there a timer on them or something? Or was I just that bad? Or am I losing my mind? I remember beating it fairly easy, but these donkey kong animals have me second guessing my existence!

Smash TV. One for every room of the house. Sure it had the stiffest controls ever but it was fun, I think.

I never recovered from the NES port and how it tried to deal with the controls.

The NES port, oh dear god, the NES port, using both NES controllers at the same time, turned at a 90 angle, it wasn't bad enough the controls were more frustrating than the arcade but that you had to look like a complete weirdo holding both NES controllers upside down.

Closest thing I can relate to what you're experiencing is when I'm really tired and chilling in bed, it's kinda like consciously feeling myself fall asleep but being between sleep and being awake, I can feel myself wanting to wake out of it but it's almost like I'm powerless to. It can be pretty intense at times. And yeah, I'm not brain damaged or a drug user or anything, maybe just chalk it off as an unexplained occurrence?  We do know very little about how the brain works, especially in a dream state or a semi dream state.

Or maybe we can just blame violent video games!
