One of the few racers I really enjoyed.

Earthbound Zero is one of my fave NES titles. Really think any fan of the Mother series would enjoy it.

I feel like Nintendo knows this game ins't gonna sell very well, so the budget was smaller, but hell, at least we get a new Star Fox. Buying it since it reminds me of the N64 era and I grew up playing the SNES game a ton.

Can you imagine if Nintendo released a "normal" console next gen? Like just on par with the next Xbox and PlayStation? No stupid gimmicks and trying to stand out and be innovators with console design. Just give me a god damn super powerful SNES type console running whatever the hell PS5 and Xbox One 2 or Xbox 1080 will have under the hood. That I would buy and I'm sure a lot of other people would as well. 3rd parties would probably return as well, along with a classic and loved first party portfolio that neither Sony or Microsoft can touch and I think you'd have a great system. But that is not reality with todays Nintendo which seems hell bent on trying to strike lightning twice with another Wii type craze.

Not a terrible list. I'd definitely axe some of those indies and add some other retail releases and import games. But these lists are always opinions anyways. Great system, if only Sony had not gone with the expensive memory, I think the Vita would be going strong in many regions, other than just in Japan like it is now.

Up until this game dropped, Axiom Verge was my fave indie game on PS4 but no longer since Salt holds that title now. I can not believe two people made this game and made it so well, it's just really fun and satisfying, an all around gem of a game. Hope more people give it a shot. Perhaps the higher price of a digital only game is keeping some people at bay from picking it up? Honestly though, it has enough meat to it so far that I'd easily pay double. Not sure why a lot of media outlets aren't reviewing this game yet either. Quite the head scratcher!

Phantasy Star IV is currently getting all my retro game time. A criminally underrated gem and it has aged wonderfully. My first playthough of any game from the series as well and I'm really loving it. It's also beautiful to look at as the art is some of the best from the 16-bit era, in my opinion. While there is no run button, your characters move very swiftly. Totally recommend it to anyone looking for one of the best RPGs of yesteryear.

If someone would have told me like 5 years ago that a concept sharing simulates with the Virtual Boy (PSVR) and the 32X (the rumored add-on "PS4.5") were the potential future of console gaming, I would have told them to jump in a lake. Gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out for sure!

MMO's can kill your love for gaming as a whole, meaning, you simply play one game way too much or genre like MMO and then suffer from a burnout. It happened to me back when I jumped into WoW when it first launched. It was the only game I played and my god, did I ever play that damn game. Then there was the stress of playing it hardcore...the PvP , the PvE.. I was like a candle burning at both ends, it wasn't even fun anymore, more like a second job. There was never any time for anything else in my life, let alone other games. It wasn't until I left WoW did my love for games really return. I'd just give it some time though and it'll come back to you, no doubt! A good lesson I learned from that experience was that moderation is almost always key to enjoying anything in life.

All the classic Sega Genesis games, especially the quirky niche games like "Toe Jam and Earl". Being a Nintendo kid growing up, I never played anything Sega except my friend's 200lbs Game Gear.
