I recently switched from the HD component to a HDMI cable. So far the video seems alright, once I got my TV settings adjusted, but my sound is different.. I don't know if its worse, I think it just sounds different. Anyone experience this? My TV settings match up with my A/V cable. So its not that.

HDMI carries both the video and sound from your source, some TV's have a setting to toggle which input is recieving the sound signal, in this case make sure it is set to HDMI. If you're hooking the HDMI to a reciever, some reciever's require a second cable like an optical cable for sound. The cable, I guess, could also be defective, but I would find that unlikely.
