@Vodoo Yes!! I too have noticed this - Glu Mobile need to be shut down if not regulated more heavily. They essentially beg you to spend money and even make most of the items unavailable unless you are willing to part with your cash, sometimes equating to the same price as some "proper" games.

Couldn't agree more with this article at all.

I have been hoping, and continue to hope for, a sequel to BF2.

Star Wars had never been so well suited for a genre and the execution was brilliant in that the second game addressed the primary issues of the first and expanded upon the orginal.

Was so disappointed that the game fell through and now to hear this about the dev staff makes me feel so sorry for them.

Trailer looks good, albeit a little less intriguing than the other CoD trailers. Just 3 things though: 1. The setting looks so familiar, not sure where from though, maybe Tiberium Wars or Frontlines: Fuels of War? 2. The engine just looks so dated now. That being said the character models are looking very crisp, just more the environment 3. They are implying jey combat, however it looks like its gonna be on rails, the part towards the ened of the video when its flying just above the streets just looks that way. But here is hoping, maybe this will be the CoD to finally break the formula and try something new.

See this all sounds well and good but I find it hard to get my hopes up. After year after year of announces and making the game sound awesome has lead to a feeling of disapointment. No point having an epic campaign if it only spans a few hours. But here's hoping anyways - prefer Treyarch to Infinity Ward as they always like to try things a little bit different (zombies, OTT weapons, and now a futuristic setting.)

I prefer buying games new, if only to support the developer. In addition, I always seem to get unlucky when it comes to used game with damaged discs or bad screen tearing. Hell I bought Mass Effect 2 and it wouldn't get up to the character creation and ended up buying it new for a fraction of the price anyway. The problem lies with places like Gamestop not offering any money from used games to the suppliers despite having huge profit margins. If they contributed more, whose to say that Microsoft and Sony would even go as far as supporting the industry as every single sale is helping contribute to the next game. I buy new a majority of the time, so long as I check previews/ reviews beforehand to ensure that I'm getting what I pay for. Anything else I can wait for the price drop rather than buying used. Besides, the new game smell is unbeatable!

Def Jam stands out in my mind as a great fighting game rather than wrestling, especially FFNY which was awesome. Personally I think that Wrestlemania for Gamecube was pretty good, I remeber sinking in hours and hours into that game when I was younger. LIke Danny I dislike the current iterations when playing alone but it is very fun when playing with friends, even if it can be frustrating when your character doesn't do what you want.

I don't necessarily want them to change the ending, but I do want them to make it more clear as to what happened, e.g. SPOILER why the Normandy was fleeing the flight with all my crew members especially as only a few seconds before I boarded the Citadel we were notified that all of Hammer was down, so surely that would include the 2 people I picked to join me. Clearly not as they left the ship. Ugh. I found out, as it was hard to miss, that the ending were supposed to be bad so I was expecting the worst and was still disappointed. Bad times.

In some cases very true - AvP and War for Cybertron where both good games, both with a number of flaws but both worth playing.
