Grand Theft Auto parent publisher sees company-wide headcount jump from 2,235 to 2,440 for year ended March 31.
Grand Theft Auto parent publisher Take-Two Interactive added 205 jobs in the past year.
According to SEC documents filed after the publisher's latest earnings report this week, the company's total full-time headcount for the year ended March 31 was 2,440, up from 2,235 at the end of the year prior.
Of the total, 1,238 are employed outside of the United States. In addition, Take-Two said none of its employees are participating in collective bargaining agreements.
"We consider our relations with employees to be satisfactory," Take-Two said.
Take-Two owns developers 2K Games and Rockstar Games and has operations across the world. A company representative declined to comment on how the distribution of new positions breaks down between the three labels or geographically.
By comparison, Battlefield publisher Electronic Arts cut 10 percent of its workforce in the past year, believed to be around 920 developers worldwide. EA has yet to reveal the specific number of jobs it cut as part of its recent round of layoffs.
