Interesting concept, with a boring and broken presentation…

The premise of Trapt is that of a third person adventure game, but instead of wielding a sword - or similar - your character can lay traps on the battlefield that will destroy your enemies. Sound's interesting right? Unf... Read Full Review

It's an interesting game but a hard one to recommand because of its length and flaws

Score = 7.5 / 10 Positive - Good visuals - Great amount of traps to use - Setting traps is cool - Unique game Negative - No English voice, only subtitles are in English - Enemies are far too slow - Limited ... Read Full Review

Trapt-for the sadistic player in all of us. True Score: 7/10

Remember back in 1996 when Tecmo released their first game in the Deception series? No, you haven't? Well, join the crowd of the majority, as this game is actually the 4th in their underrated RPG series. The story b... Read Full Review

A fun way to KILL time....

Tecmo(the bottom of the game developer barrel) released this "new" game called Trapt. Apparently they got sick of the old name "Deception" by which the previous 3 games were known as. In these games you control a chara... Read Full Review

    Twisted and fun.

I had heard this game was controversial, and decided to pick it up while it was on sale. After palying awhile, I don't think the reviews do it justice. 1st of all, the gameplay is very unique. You find yourself in a f... Read Full Review

    It's so... japanese!

As the official review already explained, the game concept is pretty straight foreward. You get dropped in an almost empty level (compare it to a chessboard if you must), and run around getting chased by one or more enem... Read Full Review

Eh, not bad but not great

The game is alright not that bad but not that great either. The storyline is a bit redundant "princess" accused of killing her father is on the run and must kill or be killed. Some twists are a welcomed relief ... Read Full Review

When i got this game i had high hopes for a really in depth horror/survivel and what i got was this a game in which i spent most of the time setting up the same traps for the most predictable AI with the only main challe... Read Full Review

Another notch in this great series

Ok, I'll admit before going on about this game that this is one of my favorite video game series of all time. Way back when I first rented Tecmo's Deception for the PS1 I quckly became hooked on its torture and kill styl... Read Full Review

If you are a sadistic person, who loves watching people in pain, then this is a game for you.

To start of, the GS review must be of the US version, cause I havn't seen any framerate drops at all. Unless they think that anything below 60fps is bad then I would agree. And unlike GS, i don't measure PS2 titles up ag... Read Full Review
