They should have waited a little more.
When you have a game series going on, best thing, in my opinion, is to compare it to the previous ones. In this case, i'll compare it to the Soul Calibur 4, since both games have very styles. The very best way is to divi... Read Full Review

Don't know what they were thinking when they created this game, the Limited Edition couldn't even save it.
I don't think I have ever been this dissapointed by a great games sequel before. I feel I must say the limited edition is awesome, it came in a cool book like case, with a great soundtrack, a pretty good artbook, cool... Read Full Review

Is Namco only try to get quick bucks with this fan service?

Doesn't do much than others in the series
For a game in the current gaming environment, Soul Calibur V doesn't even try to improve upon its predecessors. In fact it takes a step back or two. I can't comment on the multiplayer aspects but the single player ones a... Read Full Review

Huge step backward.
This game is broken. Fighting vs friends is fun, but the changes to the game are awful. Blocking is way too soft and unresponsive. Game rewards endless juggle combos that cannot be broken once started; get the first comb... Read Full Review

Could have been a good game, but no where near as fun as the previous Installation in the series. Go get SC4, its better
Big fan of the soul series, played everyone in it so far, but this one really doesn't work for me. The story forces you to play with awful characters who are annoying (to play with and personality), and is fairly meh, ig... Read Full Review

Soul Calibur V brings an enjoyable fighting experience. Players will notice the few quirks and additions that were made.
Soul Calibur V is a game released by Namco, one of my favorite game publishers and developers. The game has the original Soul Calibur formula; fast-paced fighting system, compelling cast of characters, great music, and r... Read Full Review

There are improvements across the board in the newest instalment of the Soul Series.
Let me start by saying I didn't enjoy SoulCalibur IV as much as I had others. I found it to be incredibly lop-sided, characters such as Yoda and Talim desperately needed to be nerfed, as did The Apprentice. Upon getti... Read Full Review
