Was the lead developer on leave while they got the work experience kid in to design this game? What a pile of rubbish!
What can i say? After having soooo much fun with RT3, I was really looking forward to getting my hands on a copy of this game. After installing the game, working my way through the tutorial and then having attempting... Read Full Review

Good Game, Nothing Groundbreaking or New
From the old A-train to today we have seen great improvements in game play, complexity and graphics. This game however is not by any means revolutionary. The graphics are good, to get anything above mid 90's graphics ... Read Full Review

Very good game but some grapics issues are just silly to be missed.
This game is very good in my opinion. It has some good graphics but there are some issues that should not have been missed. The sound is spectacular. For example when a train is moving slow it sounds pretty much like it ... Read Full Review

Game was pretty good. Graphics pull on hardware late in scenario with the action. Gets kinda old after a while.
The game has some neat features, the graphics look like they could be good. But, the problem is that even on descent hardware the game lags when the action gives heavy. Perhaps, it was a little to ambitious for current... Read Full Review

looks much better but it's got no soul, looks fancy but it's missing strategic depth, dissappointing for old fans
Probably for a new player of this series the game is great, but if you ever played one of the old ones you'll find out very quickly that this one miss something. This is more like a feeling than a rationale thought so... Read Full Review

Looks great. Sounds great. But play is ultimately disapointing.
This is a review of the patched (v 1.10) version. I loved Railroad Tycoon. You could start playing, and before you knew it.. 4 hours had passed. Initially Sid Meiers Railroads looked and felt great. It takes the same ... Read Full Review
