Great gameplay and awesome boss fights doesn't hide the fact that the story and game structure is absolute rubbish
This game is really hard to give a fair review. The game in itself isn't bad and if it hadn't been a Metroid game I'm sure I would have liked it more. But as it is, there's a lot that really rubbed me the wrong way. F... Read Full Review

Feelings Don't Mean Anything.
Metroid: Other M gathered mixed criticism due to the fact that half the original fans loved it and the other half did not. Many claim that the story line was horrible and giving Samus a background and emotions ruined th... Read Full Review

Other M is furious fun and a fresh Metroid experience, though some aspects could've been better.
How often does a franchise get completely turned on its head? My guess would be "not that often," so it makes me wonder if any franchise has seen as many drastic changes to its core gameplay as has Metroid. Going from ... Read Full Review

The Other M is a great addition the series. Yet, it's not quite expected to be called a masterpiece.
The game is awesome. A brand new adventure with a storyline and characters involved makes The Other Metroid worthy of being part of the series. However, a few flaws has hindered its chance to receive the title of a maste... Read Full Review

A well crafted story-driven Metroid game or a complete demotion of Samus Aran's character? You decide.
Samus Aran was the protagonist of a game called Metroid for the NES, which dazzled gamers with the freedom of exploration, the shear amount of collecting one must do, challenging gameplay and one of the most shocking end... Read Full Review

Other M was looking to be one of the best Metroids. Did it live up to the hype? Not really.
Other M started development much like Metroid Prime. They were both handled by other developers and many considered it a risky move. Especially considering that Other M's Co-developer, Team Ninja, isn't always the best... Read Full Review

The gameplay warrants a 9, but the story holds it back.
Hated the story. Absolutely hated it. Horrible, melodramatic, unskippable, Squeaky Samus cutscenes. The worst part though is that they force you to wait before you can experience more of the amazing gameplay. With the ex... Read Full Review

Almost as epic as Super Metroid...almost.
Metroid: Other M was a highly anticipated title for me to say the least...and was in many ways well worth the wait. The weakest part of this installment of the Metroid franchise however was what they (Team Ninja) seemed... Read Full Review

It dose not feel like a Metroid Prime game to me....
The first moment I played this game I was very disappointing. What happened to the first person shooter game I used to know? The controls are confusing, and kind of annoying, and I don't get the parts were you have to lo... Read Full Review

Samus returns to her platforming roots in this stylish and compelling game
Metroid: Other M is a well designed and enjoyable game that shouldn't be missed by Metroid fans. Platforming action is the heart of every Metroid game, and Other M doesn't disappoint. Samus' roster of moves will be imm... Read Full Review
