As of the first of August 2009, still amazingly unstable. Great while it works, if you don't want to deck build.
I'm typing this while my 360 comes back up. This game has crashed my system more than anything else I've played. If it weren't a Magic: the Gathering game I wouldn't be playing it til they patch again. Otherwise, it i... Read Full Review

Worth the 800 points and a great introduction to magic, but there's definitely room to improve.
I've been playing Magic the Gathering since Beta (which if you don't know is a long frigging time). I hung up my Magic hat a number of years ago though, so for me this was a return to a game that I used to love. Afte... Read Full Review

Hardcore Magic-players beware!
Wizards plugged this game in a video for one of the latest PTQ's. I thought the interface looked nice, well-designed and utilizing graphic effects unlike the stale and boring interface used in Magic Online. It seemed thi... Read Full Review

Magic the gathering: DOPW. Rreview for the "real" gamers DJL
YES: Card artwork is impressive. Easy to pick up and play with smooth, flowing interface. Turn by turn strategy element makes you actually use your head. NO: Massive geeks play on "live" with this; sometimes they... Read Full Review

Functional version of MTG, and a great introduction to the rules, but not enough options for fans of the card game.
As a fan and regular player of the Magic card game I've been waiting for this to finally come out for a while (after months of teasing on the official site), and was hoping for a solid but slightly stripped down version ... Read Full Review

A good fun card game all in all, only a few factors hold it back.
Magic the Gathering is a fun, and different card game. You duel an opponet(s) to try and take there life to 0. This is done by creatures, spells, and various other means. I guess what make this game so fun is how unique ... Read Full Review

Loyal to Magic card game.
Pros: Great graphics, true to card game rules, nice setup, large card library. Cons: Some bug issues, repetitive music. When I heard about Duels of the Planeswalker coming to X-Box I was excited. I been playing Mag... Read Full Review

Not bad, for 800 microsoft points (or about 10 bucks) it is good enough for that Magic fix.
A friend asked me about this game and I gave him this review (edited for everyone): Not bad, for 800 Microsoft points (or about 10 bucks) it is good enough for that Magic fix. But its predefined decks, with only minor... Read Full Review

A fun game for those who are just starting or are not familiar with Magic: The Gathering, but a bore for the experienced
I've been playing Magic: The Gathering off and on for something like 5 years or so. I've always been impressed with the art, innovations, and pure fun of the game despite the high price tag of constantly buying cards. ... Read Full Review
