Loyal to Magic card game.
Cons: Some bug issues, repetitive music.
When I heard about Duels of the Planeswalker coming to X-Box I was excited. I been playing Magic: The Gathering in real life for ten years and Magic Online for three years and was wanting a game to play against an AI. As soon as it came out on X-Box I downloaded it and was not disappointed.
The game holds true to the card game rules (even to the Stack).
The AI planeswalkers you duel against are truly challenging and will strategize in relation with what is in play. I thought it was nice touch that you can unlock the decks of the planeswalker you duel against.
There is a Puzzle mode where you a given a scenario and you have to figure out how to win. This is a nice add-on and will help you become a better magic player.
Although the music gets repetitive (just use your custom tracks) the game is well worth the ten dollars tag if you love magic or just enjoy playing strategy cards games. I definitely recommend it.
