A friend asked me about this game and I gave him this review (edited for everyone):

Not bad, for 800 Microsoft points (or about 10 bucks) it is good enough for that Magic fix. But its predefined decks, with only minor customization (adding 17 cards that you unlock). But you get a decent amount of decks 8 (start with 2 green & red, unlock the other 6), they're the 5 colors, and a Green/Black, Black/Red/Green, and Green/Red/White. Some other options, you can play co-op against the computer (or online), but co-op is your partner not your opponent (which actually makes sense, because it would be hard not to see they're cards, same TV and all), and its got a nifty challenge mode where you're given a bunch of cards and must beat the computer in 1 turn, but after you finish the 8 challenges you're done with that mode. And of course their is an online option to play, haven't tried this.

As I said for 800 MS points its not a bad buy, its a suitable substitute for to actually playing Magic., and you'll probably get your money's worth. Big knocks against, no real customizing of decks, no custom decks period, and not quite enough play options.

I'm enjoying it, and it's about 10 bucks which isn't that bad, I've spent that much for less enjoyment.
