An interesting twist on KOF, but it's far from delivering the Maximum Impact promised.
As a devoted fan of the King of Fighters franchise, I'm probably not the best person to deliver an unbiased view of KOF: Maximum Impact. That said, the game is definitely an impressive visual leap for the series, but the... Read Full Review

A great first effort to put King of Fighters in 3D.
If you’re a King of Fighters fan like me you got this game when it came out. I liked this game because it was a good first effort to put King of Fighters into 3D. SNK certainly did a better job of 3D fighting this time a... Read Full Review

The only thing good about this game is the graphics.
Contrary to what others think, I hated it. The voice acting was so grating I had to turn off the sound, on fear that my ears would bleed. Now, anyone who knows me understands that I cannot concentrate without sound for s... Read Full Review

Old-school gameplay in 3-D graphics, it's cool.
I'm more of a street fighter fan, but I got this game from a friend, and I knew KOF was a 2-D fighter with many fans too, so why not? I'm not gonna write a long review, I'm just gonna give some explanation and the goo... Read Full Review

Simple gameplay, beautiful graphics and reasonless fighting... yeah, this is a The King Of Fighters game.
Surely, this game haven't made all the noise that SNK wanted to. Even that SNK suceeded in porting the King Of Fighters franchise into the 3D world almost flawlessly, it haven't attracted everyone it should have. The ... Read Full Review

Depending on how you feel about 3d adaptions of 2d fighters will influence how you poerceive this game.
I played the game and it's release on the xbox, and although the playstation version lacked foregin voice overs, the game itself was decent. I'd give it a 7, because it's a typical for a 2d to 3d adaption. It isn't reall... Read Full Review
