Simple gameplay, beautiful graphics and reasonless fighting... yeah, this is a The King Of Fighters game.
The graphics aren't that innovative or beautiful, but at least they make their paper. With hi-res textures and great fabric animation, they follow their assignments perfectly.
The gameplay is quite simple, and some controls are not that responsive as they should be for a fighting game, making some of the moves quite frustrating to do.
The sound isn't the greatest attractive as it was in the previous games. The game has some quite nice sound effects and background music, but they don't stand out as greatly as they should to me remembered by the players.
The game has a story mode, qich is nothing than battle, battle, battle untill you reach the boss, defeat him and see your ending. This unlocks an alternative outfit and the character's bio. There's also a Challenge Mode, wich is quite uninteresting. The real shine of the game is the multiplayer modes, Team Versus and Single Versus. These modes will give you more than 200 hours of gameplay, because it's fairly hard to have enough of it.
KOF: Maximun Impact is a good game, that will provide one of the most memorable videogame fights ever!
