They aren't boasting. This guy simply taped what happened when he entered a match. He did not announce, I AM GAY He was not boasting. You are not boasting either. I don't even play with my mic unless I am playing with people I know because so many people are a-holes online that I hate just listening to all their hate speech and racial comments, and all the cursing and all of that crap. I don't understand why XBL brings out the worst in people, probably because its just like the internet and they feel invinsible because nobody knows where they live to kick their ass, etc.. I think what is interesting about this whole thread is the fact that there are still intolerant people in the US and abroad and they all join XBL, specifically to bash people in Halo 3. We would like to think that this is a brave new world, but in reality we are just more of the same. Its the combination of immaturity and not being face to face with the person you are insulting. People get very brave when they are talking over the internet, myself included at times.

Easiest solution is to just mute people and build a friends list of people you like playing with. It won't fix the problem entirely, but it helps.

Well you can report the person but that probably won't do much, they pay their dues and thats what it comes down to.
