Sounds treasonous. You haven't been here long enough to know that activity comes and goes. You took a little vacation for a while yourself, people do that. We shall NEVER be done for.

So, back to the flag idea. What kind of symbols should we have on it?

I think each Emperial Dynasty should have it's own flag just with variations.

Example, I would have my flag as the union flag, until I am no longer Emperor. The next ruler has their own flag, similar but all his/her own.

*Remember it is against the law to laugh, make fun of, mock, humiliate, or otherwise desecreate the Imperial Banner. (unless you absolutely must).

Keep in mind I dont have photoshop and I suck at gimp. In fact I used Gimp and paint to make that, im sure you can tell.

You might want to define what is meant by "absolutly must" since at the moment I absolutly must ;) point out that the animals would not be easily recognizable without your explaination, which is usualy a bad thing. This is why 'tis better to cut and paste then draw by hand, unless you have some rockin art skillz.JeffSteel

Ahhh, so you challenge me to a flag making contest? When I get the motivation to do so, I will craft a flag so amazing it will have to be caste into the deepest darkest depths of space so as not to endanger humanity.JeffSteel

This is totally off topic even for the hippodrome, but I was watching x-play last night and they SLAMED StarWars: Force Unleashed with a 2 out of 5. The gamespot review kind of slammed it in the review but still gave it a 7.0. Go figure.harden007

harden - try using OpenOffice draw to build you flag (if you're familiar with powerpoint type office draw tools) and of course you'll save it as a .odg file.

don't be too pefectionistic about getting it excessively beautiful or anything like that - even stick to gray scale for that matter. then export it as a .gif or .jpg from OpenOfficeDraw. then open it and edit it in GIMP - colors and all. OpenOfficeDraw doesn't give you many colors, but it's a trillion times easier to make shapes, move objects around, and mess with layering. then once you get it nice you export it into GIMP, color it how you want it (millions of colors there as well as other filler types) and then apply a few filters - like Oil Paint or Cartoon.

i'm not criticizing it. i'm only responding to your comment about sucking at GIMP. GIMP is for manipulating images, not for making them - not that you can't obviously.

GIMP doesn't do vector drawings very well. not that OpenOfficeDraw is a full featured vector drawing program, it at least allows you to make shapes, change their form, and move them around. the line tools especially are handy for making any shape imaginable.

Such has always been the role of the magi and preists of history, I thought that was common knowledge.

unfortunately projects such as this are 20% creativity, 60% fixing things before people can break them beyond disasterously, and 20% overcoming things that the corporate West put in your way to keep you from succeeding.

Hey, about that union problem of mine Harden, it's not really real, I was once really active on GS, and was made officer in many unions, and some people even gave me their unions when they left GS.....

They are all dead, my own unions and my officer unions, the DWU and friends blogs are kinda the only reasons I come on GS these days.

And BTW Bruno, don't worry man, it's ok to call me DPQ, that's what I want people to do, dpq is just as good, or even just D if you feel like it. :P

I don't want to make promises I can't keep, but I'll do my best to be more active now that school has been giving us less homework, and my English teacher decided I was too good for the English I'm currently learning, so she told me I don't need to do English homework unless she personally asks me to do it for the rest of this semester (ooh yah! :P)

Hmmm. Even though there are no defined officer duties at this point, would you consider the position?

I would consider giving you the Title of Prince, which is a temporary officer status until you are deemed worthy to have your own Kingdom.
