certainly it would be in the ancient china setting, but hack & slash doesnt work too well ofr RPG, so we will need to stylize it a bit..... somehow. For a lot of unions ppl always request officer ranks for they feel of no importance. Same with ancient china so they are given titles and ranks

you could make a new system that once you are sure they are super loyal they should be given a title or rank. If they becoem super inactive (like axeL) they get taken out of there title or rank

I know a lot of unions do that, but there are plenty of reasons not to do it. It would be foolish for me to publisize who the successor is, chiefly because I dont know who it will be. Technically every oficer has a shot, but some are more likely than others to get the job should I resign. Also a King Title is about as fansy as you can get. 

I have toyed with the idea of giving each "King" their own stickied thread, a thread where they would rule and come up with their own content. But that's what I initially intended for the Slendid Palace award. However it looks like no one is getting that one any time soon. So I'm not sure about much at this point. 

I dont see how someone should feel "shame" because they're not an officer. There's nothing here that officers really do differently than recruits. 

Well i didnt mean officers arent the only one accesed to the idea i mean everyone you know who actually posts in this union. See the point is to raise up youre rank by posting (a little motivation)

Alright for this new system you should be creative (for ranks or titles)

See it starts of with the ppl of royalt jeffsteel, bruno, buttman to have the highest ranks possible you know king of Shu or king of wu all those names

Then ppl like me or maybe mits get titles and ranks like chief commander or district commander of Luo Yang.

Then theres the low ranks like bug or dragonheart who just started like commander who quells the west.

See when you see they are active and has affected the union (like ancient china) you increase there rank so it will kinda be difficult since you have to list almost every person you can rember that you can guarentee will be active for the present

Also it will help you if like a newcomer posts so much, you dont think he has been in the union long enough to become officer well give him a huge rank

the "difficult" part does not appeal to me much.

Giving everyone in the union a title is a little on the meaningless side, but envolves much more work on my part. I think the best way to do something like this would be to give each officer their own thread and have them assign ranks to people who "join" their kingdom.

It will only be 13 ppl. And since its sticky you dont need to make a list and memorize a lot

I'm handing it to the officers, if they like it then they can do it.

It just doesn't appeal to me at the moment, but it might later.
