Japan is irrelevant now and has been since the 7th gen. MS proved that by selling 80+ million and selling virtually nothing in Japan. Japan has become a small market for consoles now and the PS4 sales numbers are proof.

Not sure why they would say that. There were pictures at 8:30a as well and there was no one in line. The only positive photo I've seen was the midnight party that they had, where there was a crowd of about 50+ people there. There's really no reason for anyone to be up at midnight for an XB1 launch in Japan because Japanese gamers know it's not going to sell out on day one. Even the PS4 didn't sell out, even with the huge crowd of people waiting in line, there were still plenty of PS4 to be found the next day.

MS have been trying to lower the good taste of the japanese people but they're not achieving it. Japan still knows the xbone is shit. Kudos to that great nation.
