Kinect is amazing and very innovative, it's fun for the whole family. The Motion controls work so well and are so precise. It also has a wonderful game library, Sesame Street Kinect, Kinectimals, Star Wars Kinect (my personal favorite), Rise of Nightmares, and many other great games. It has such great support from MS (thank you so much, MS.) Seriously, why do you guys hate kinect? EVERYTHING is better with kinect.

Good on you Platnium.
I had a Kinect for a while cos my Mrs wanted one. Had to sell it, our living room was a bit small, wouldn't work quite right.
I think that the audience at System Wars (myself included) is unlikely to be convinced Kinect is good, even though it has been quite successful for Microsoft.
Kinect, and it's concept of 'controller free gaming' could work really well if movements were very precise. It could well be a future input method for real time strategy games on consoles. A genre I'd love to see more of on gaming consoles, some people are unfortunately confined to 1 system for whatever reason, and these people do get RTS games (Supreme Commander 2 for example) but the controller as an input method, well, I feel it is a barrier to full enjoyment of the RTS genre.
Kinect faces many, many barriers to success.
For one, I, probably like you (by you I mean SW inhabitants), am dubious about it
Secondly, I, also probably like you, am something of a gaming puritan. What's wrong with pressing A to jump?
Thirdly, if - like me, you have given it a go, you probably felt that the technology wasn't good enough to support the Kinect experience eg - too much input lag, picking up on player's movements imprecisely.
There are probably even more barriers to it's success. A little snapsnot below of Metacritic's view of the Kinect library. Obviously, some games like Skyrim sneak in there, but really, it is dancing games etc.
