I doubt the differences will matter much between the two systems. If you have both consoles and need to insure you have the better version wait a couple days and DF will have a verdict.

No, PC is not the definite choice.

When you own Watch Dogs on either PS4 or Xbox One you actually own it because you can re-sell it. Whereas with PC, you still cannot re-sell your digital property. Hopefully that will change soon.

Amazons Cloud was used by Anonymous to hack about anything they wanted to hack. There is compute power in the cloud. A lot of it.

Will it work the way Microsoft wants it to with gaming? We'll have to wait and see.

@BattleSpectre: this would depend on the weather. if it is a clear sky i would pick the ps4 version but on a cloudy day x1 version will have the advantage.

Perform this thought experiment: If you disconnect from the internet while playing Watch Dogs on the Xbox One, will the game suddenly look worse?

People really need to stop believing that "The Power of the Cloud" will somehow affect a single-player game.

Of course it will look better on the Playstation 4, it's the faster console that isn't bottlenecked by 32mb ESRAM.

I know this is a console comparison thread... Anyway, just curious about something Clyde...

You have a beastly gaming PC and say that it's your primary platform. So my question is, what the hell are you thinking?

Why on earth would you want to play this game at 30 FPS on low/medium settings probably with bad draw distance to boot? My advice would be not to support the console versions of multiplats wherever possible and just purchase the first party exclusives for them. It doesn't make sense on almost any level to purchase multi-plats on console if you've a gaming rig.

Playing the odds, the safe bet is PS4. Of course, if you have PC, it will be THE version.

First of all, who the **** are you? Second, my friends have PS4's and I want to game with them. Unless you can get PSN on PC, I'll be getting this to play with my friends.

Ps4 if you have one, planning on getting a Wii-U myself so i may take a look at this game in the future.

This shouldn't even be a question. The PS4 is a more capable machine so by default multiplats will be better there unless the dev wants it to be otherwise but I don't think that's the case with WD.

I have the XB1, PS4 and a gaming PC.....so if this game gets good reviews, I will buy the PC version.

OK fine. You cant play with your friends on PSN if you buy the PC version. I'm not much of a social gamer though so that didn't even cross my mind. I posted because Watchdogs shows the first real divergence in PC/console quality this gen. It looks like, and has been implied by the devs that there will be a signifcant difference between the platforms so maybe think about buying a copy of the game then for both platforms.
