Great!

Really surprising,heard that the beta wasn't really good,but it seems to have improved.

The first one got a 9 as well. I'll try this out when EA demos it on the PC.

Battlefield 1 for me.

Nice score but since I waited for the first Titanfall to be GOTY edition with all DLC, I'll wait for Titanfall 2 GOTY edition as well which shouldn't be a long wait anyway.

nice, I decided to get this instead of BF1 (at least initially) after not enjoying BF1's beta.

Good score, I'll wait for a bit, hopefully there will be a price drop in a few months.

I'm so pumped for Titanfall 2! I think I'm gonna move over to PS4 this time though. There will be PS4 Pro enhancements and the PC version is a no-no because people don't play $60 games on PC. Cheap asses...

Badly written narrative is immediately a no-no. I prefer top notch SP experience, far above MP

Meh. Guessing it'll be mostly dead in a few months on PC. Deathmatch was like the only game mode played on the original Titanfall shortly after release. Yawn.

Game with 5 hour campaign getting 9s.

Games like Doom which feature 15 hour SP with amazing level design cant reach 9 on gamespot.

this is very much a multiplayer focused series, first one didn't even have a proper campaign.

this could have the shittiest campaign imaginable and still get a 9

Actually Campaign is highlight in most reviews. they claim its short but very good and unique and varied. i will see.

Too many games coming out at once, I cannot keep up. Glad its getting good scores, first game was great and felt fresh.

How long is the campaign ?

I'm really not interested in another MP game at the moment, but I might buy it some day if the campaign has a decent length.

I think he said like 4 hours in the review.

Kinda disappointing, but still the singleplayer does look really good. And while playing Titanfall 1 I always wondered what a good singleplayer story could do with the setting.

Still want to check it out some day. But right now I think Shadow Warrior 2 is a safer bet for a good lasting SP experience :)

SW2 SP is also very short as game was design for coop.

Titanfall 2 SP looks better actually.

He doesnt. Titanfall 1 is a much better game than 2. So much stuff has been dumbed down in T2 is kinda laughable yet he thinks this one is more intelligent when the skill has been taken out of things like traversal and lassoing making Titans too easy to kill.

I'll probably pick it up since I'm not a BF1 fan but the beta was kinda disappointing.

Hoping they do lots of tweaking and changes to make the game better like they did with T1.

shadow warrior 2013 much much better game. stick to that or Doom.

That was an incredibly useless review. As laughable as it is to say, I think Polygon has has the best review so far. They actually go in depth on the multiplayer and the changes they've made from the first game.

Shame to hear, that sounds rather short, did you do a lot of side missions ?

I'm definitely gonna replay Shadow Warrior 2013 and DOOM. But I also look forward to playing Shadow Warrior 2 and Titanfall one day, probably next year :)

I just play a lot of singleplayer FPS, for real ! xD

only few. i skip side quest and went for main missions. SW2 has one of the worst level design i have seen in FPS

I may get titanfall 2 for SP soon. it looks refreshing. reviewers claim its refreshing and think it should have been longer.

because most fans of the 1st one played the beta and it was terrible. Might as well play CoD at this point. TF1 was for FPS fans that don't like CoD, TF2 is for CoD fans

TF1 didnot even have SP...

it was incomplete game sold at full priced.

But it had a great MP with a skill gap much higher then CoD but not as brutal as Halo. The new one is CoD. I'd take a good MP and no SP campaign over a bad MP with a 5 hour SP campaign. With that said, I'll use EA access to play the campaign, but I'm not gonna play the MP at all. I got bored from the beta already. With TF1 I played the alpha, beta, and over 300 hours after release. I made gen 10 pilot before the nerfed the gooser challenge. They ruined what as a great MP to be more CoD like and appeal to more casuals. It's w/e to me i got plenty to play already in a crowded holiday season.

Also by that account, then any game without PvP, co-op, and SP is incomplete? How can a MP only game be incomplete but a SP only game isn't?
