On topic, the Xbox version of HL2 looked like arse compared to PC.

When you consider that Call of Duty 2, a game that is pushing for being four years old, looks and acts(see constant framerate of 60 despite great graphics) better than any Wii game out there, that's sad.

For God's sake....WE ALL KNOW that the Wii is weaker than the ps3/360 and that the ps3/360 has better graphics. We're just clarifying that the Wii is strong IN ITS OWN WAY, can produce great graphics and is stronger than all last gen consoles. Period.Pices

^ The poster above makes a good argument.. Specs are nothing more than calculated benchmarks hardware manufacturers think a system's capable of.. It doesn't necessarily mean real world functions. On paper the wii seems more powerfual than the original XB, but Ubisoft stated there are things that the original XB can do, that the wii can't.. That right there tells me that the wii isn't as powerful as some would have you to believe. OhSnapitz

People have been underestimating the Wii's hardware limitations, especially fanboys and developers. But after reading this article and watching this video, it certainly proved them wrong.

and it looks a helluva lot better than i think every wii game

it uses normal mapping, real time reflections, real time shadows (and self shadows), upwards of 100 enemies on screen at once with individual ai and lighting among other effects including very good bloom

the wii is well known to be more than twice as powerful as the wii (it's actually about 10 times as powerful i think) so imagine what factor5 would be able to produce on wii

also, remember, this game supported split screen co-op,
