PS3 is looking to catch 2nd place in sales before next-gen starts. PS3 is only 3 million behind the 360 and the yearly sales of PS3 is just under a million more than 360.

I will have to agree that next-gen doesn't start with Wii-U because of dated hardware, but it is still a new hardware so it's next-gen. In my book, it isn't next-gen but in the real world, it is.
