Got my copy of Twilight Princess HD! It's a long wait till the end of the work day... good thing I've got some coffee. ^_^

@Zassimick:
Mine is out for delivery along with The Division. Although I can't play play the latter until the servers go up early Monday morning :(
They made one. It's called Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam
Haven't gotten around to playing it or even Dream Team plus the reviews seemed to be on the meh side. Just from looking at it, Paper Jam doesn't look nearly unique enough in story or setting. I want something similar to the first two or hell even the third, and be on Wii-U. The small screen of the 3DS is growing tiresome but I don't know if I want to grab a n3ds XL yet.
I haven't picked up on the Mario and Luigi games myself, let alone any of the Paper Marios, but I do have digitals of the first games in the series and plan on playing them soon.
But I'm assuming they're both are heavily inspired by Super Mario RPG. So I guess what I'm saying is that maybe if Sales were higher for Mario and Luigi than the new Paper Mario they'd probably get the idea. (Sticker Star sold a lot last I recall)
@Xaero_Gravity: I'm getting a little more interested in The Division; won't pick it up until a significant price drop if I ever do.
And what service did you use for delivery? My Amazon isn't shipping until today or tomorrow so I had to go purchase a copy in-store if I wanted to play this weekend. >_<
@mems_1224: damn, I'm almost jealous, the Galaxy line starting with the S6 is way the f*ck better than their previous phones. If you want any tips or tricks with the UI (or Android if you've been using an iPhone), hit me up. Mess around with it for a few days first.
@LegatoSkyheart: Play Superstar Saga, then find a copy of Bowser's Inside Story. Kill rest with fire.
I would rank the Mario & Luigi games in order of release. Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, Bowser's Inside Story, and then Dream Team.
But yeah, if you like Super Mario RPG and it's timed attack battle system, they are pretty good games with awesome music too.
@LegatoSkyheart: To simplify what could otherwise be paragraphs of text, the rest range between uninspired to a total drag. 1 is the best proof of concept the series ever had for the two bro mechanic, and they never built on it, only stripped it down. BiS was the closest they came to getting back to it.
@darkspineslayer: I see. Sounds like Nintendo should have just left Super Mario RPG as a one off instead of making carbon copy clones.
@LegatoSkyheart: Please don't let that be your takeaway. The two Mario and Luigi games I mentioned are totally worth your time and the series has an identity outside of Mario RPG/the good Paper Mario games.
@darkspineslayer: Oh I'll still play it. Just saying if 2/5 games of a series are the only worth while games the franchise has to offer it's not giving me good vibes.
New episodes of Louie and House of Cards today on Netflix
Well, if my weekend wasn't already being consumed by Zelda and Pokemon. I may have to give up some life goals at this point.
HTC Vive is surprisingly comfortable. Everything felt quite snug on my face, the headphones provided went with the headset fine, and the controllers were simple to use. They had a circular touchpad that you could click where your thumbs rest and triggers on the back. After the twenty-something minutes of demos I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I wore glasses, because I only had one contact on and they said that my glasses would be a better bet, and the headset accommodated those perfectly.
The actual experience was pretty great too. I could move my head as quickly or slowly as I wanted and the headset kept up with me the entire time, and in the small space I had (imagine a 12 ft x 12 ft area) I could walk around with everything acting as expected. The headset has a cyan grid appear that says the cameras in the room are detecting you're going to hit a wall and to head back. The resolution isn't sharp, per se, but it's extremely effective at getting the image across. It feels like walking up to a 720p TV and going very close as you could easily see pixels. Some font was unreadable, I'd imagine what constitutes size 12 font in Word was straight up undecipherable here. Anything otherwise looked great. I'd imagine porn in this would be dope, though resolution again could affect the image.
I did four separate demos:
1) Here I was on the deck of a ship that had sank to the bottom of the ocean. This was awesome as a first experience for virtual reality. I walked around a bit, played with some fish, but the kicker was the whale that appeared seemingly right in front of me. The effect was quite well realized. I felt its daunting size and slow demeanor, my god. It was an awesome moment. The whole underwater setting was beautifully chilling with its deep blues and the attention to detail on the sunken ship. Walking around on it was great.
2) The second demo was being a worker in 2050. This was a cubicle scattered with various objects found in a workspace. I found a small cuckoo desktop piece I messed around with, along with other objects my robot boss gave me to do as a task. This meant I had to take a cart in front of me, get a donut with the controller and put it to my mouth to eat it, and then make coffee with a machine. Then I plugged in my computer, typed in a password (which was "101;" my keyboard humorously only had only two buttons on it, 0 and 1), and read emails. Again, all of this was done by looking around, moving, and using the controllers to interact with things. I had to also open up a drawer and fire two workers. Seeing two cartoon robot workers explain their perils as they cross your cubicle in VR is quite funny, in a slightly grim way.
3) Here I just painted. I got a bunch of brush types and colors with my left controller's touchpad that were displayed on different sides of a cube. I used the touchpad to rotate the cube, then my right controller (my brush) to pick an option. Painting in a virtual reality space is so great because you're painting in a different dimension. I tried making a simple tree - brown trunk and green top - and saw that what looked flat from the angle I painted it at was actually quite messy at a different, as my strokes were all done in a messy fashion. It's a hard experience to describe, but VR generally is.
4) My last demo was messing with the blue co-op partner from Portal. They said I had to reassemble him, but what it really was was an set piece where they show a bunch of parts inside him, and you're supposed to just oggle from different angles. The attention to detail here was amazing, every little piece looked painfully crafted for what's the inside of a video game character. Also seeing him up close was awesome. Awesome, but not as awesome as SEEING GLADOS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE.
TL;DR try out HTC Vive if you can.
Tiger mask is getting a new anime. I couldn't be any happier man.
One of my favourite old animes which is over 40 years old no kidding. I think I will rewatch it again haha.
Btw king design from Tekken was inspired by tiger mask.
@Zassimick: Is Zootopia really good? I see it's getting great reviews all over the place, but I'm getting some feeling that you've seen it. I don't know why. :P
Here's some live SFV streams

Working on my Pokemon Omega Ruby Team.
Blaziken- Level 36
Altaria- Level 35
Lombre- Lever 35
Still in a work in progress obviously.
I finished the Forest Temple earlier. Something about the controls on the Wii U version of TP feels off. And it was nagging me the entire time I played.
I'll just chalk it up this time to being rusty what with too much Dragon Quest and Fire Emblem. But if it doesn't start feeling natural like GC I probably won't even finish it.
@Zassimick besides a multitude of art I've run across and the praise online your hearty recommendations are all good signs. Not that I needed them; if it's from Disney or Pixar, I'm there opening weekend.
@Technoweirdo I gathered up a couple old friends who will be joining the hunt with MHG. You have until release to get your **** together and partake of the huntin' goodness.
THAT. WAS. AWESOME.
This is pretty much the reaction to everyone I know that's actually went out and tried the Rift or Vive headsets. Now you know lol. Too bad every thread here about VR amounts to 'lolVR'.
I personally have only tried the Rift and it was just the Development Kit model, the Consumer one is supposedly significantly better according to the CES previews. Really want to try them out side-by-side, though.
Things Techno never knew was missing from his childhood +1
TWEWY's OST's still great, but dayum, I don't think it holds a candle to that.
Now, to #FE on the other hand...Admittedly, I can't find much of it outside of the vocal setpiece tracks, but what I've heard so far isn't anywhere near that. :( Maybe because it doesn't try to be like that, but a missed opportunity, I say.
It's food nouveau. It's food nouveau. The shape of love. JSRF is definitely one of the best original soundtracks ever assembled for a videogame. TWEWY is cool and all. I like the diversity and it suits the distinctive identity that the game has. But goddamn, some of the vocal deliveries on the more punk/post-hardcore stuff just sounds incredibly lifeless and dry.
Pfft. Fire Emblem. When it comes to Strategy game soundtracks, Tropico 3 is where it's at. >:[

You both are WRONG!
This is the best Music soundtrack! It starts at 8:41
I traded in my Pikachu for a Gengar.
I don't know how I feel about this.
Gengar is absolutely and objectively superior in every single way without a single shadow of doubt. You made the right choice; Pikachu is lame.
Bros. Brehs. Brahs! BRUHS!!
Dat UC4 beta. SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOODDDD!!!
Seriously, it's so fun! The hook adds little (though people are spamming it's melee attack as of late) but it serves its purpose of making travel fast and simple, the maps are the right size and the weapons are soo damn balanced!
You can have loads of fun with every class (I'm rocking the support class/equipment right now). ND nailed the MP in this beta, hopefully in the full game things will remain as fun!

Is it actually good?
You may sell the game on me yet.
@naughtyottsel:
It really is! Do have a PS4 + PS+? If so give it a go! It'll be open until tomorrow (the 6th).
But yeah, I've had a blast with it so far. There are issues of course. For example, you can summon side-kicks (though you must earn them with in-game kills) and a couple of brute side-kicks ( basically big dudes with armour and massive gatling guns) can make any match super one sided. So there are some balance issues to fix there.
The hook melee attack I mentioned? 1 hit KO. Though you have to charge it and run at your opponent so it's a bit of a risky strategy. That said it gets super annoying when they catch you off-guard as there really isn't much you can do in those cases.
A great thing (IMO) about the gunplay is that even if you spot an opponent first, that isn't a guaranteed kill. If he/she is good/quick enough it's very much possible to turn it around. I've done it and have had it happen to me quite a few times. Another plus is that every gun is pretty damn balanced. Shotgun? Slow, but basically lethal at close range. Assault rifle? Fast but not very accurate. That makes trying out different weapons and strategies pretty damn rewarding.
They really did a nice job so far, IMO.

The only problem is, I hate multiplayer most of the time so I dunno XD
Is it worth trying out regardless of that?
I just got my first ever platinum trophy.........and it was in Persona 4 Dancing All Night.
I'm ashamed of my words and deeds
PS: the Snowflakes remix is the best song in that game
.............
Trip to Japan (+other countries) just got booked. Gonna be my 3rd time travelling there.
Get mad Weaboos.

Uh, catch another Pikachu.

I didn't literally trade my Pikachu for a Gengar, I got it for a Farfetch'd (lol), but I replaced Pikachu with it for my battle team.
I am really enjoying the art style in Pokemon Black.
I'm not enjoying how I feel as if every time I run into a pokemon in the wild I have to run back to some place to heal up. Some of my pokemon don't die fast, but others get hit by a tackle and take 25% of their health. I assume the "natures" play a role in that.
@beardmad: Not natures, your stats. There are six of them:
If your Pokemon's Defense and/or Special Defense is low, it will take more damage in battles.
Anyway, later routes have healers stationed on them so you don't have to keep running back.

Like my fucking Gengar

I know about the stats.
I mean, for instance, that my Patrat (who I benched for being a rat turd) wasn't attacking first in battles even against wild Patrats that were 5 levels below him, so I assume its nature played into its speed being low. It's got a Brave nature which seems to increase attack and decrease speed.
