Black and White had a decent story, and not just by Pokemon standards. Definitely the best campaign in the series.

And yeah, EXP Share breaks the game, even more so in X/Y, so I suggest you keep it turned off. Having just finished my second playthrough though- literally a couple hours back- I can safely say that Gen 6 is pretty good, so there's no way you won't like it.

@charizard1605: i liked how they tried to use the legendary Pokemon to control the world and "N" was an interesting villain and how you had to beat him to show him the errors of his way and ideology. It was a fantastic Pokemon plot for sure.

@khoofia_pika: I need to replay black. I had a whole area to explore after beating the game that I ignored.

The original trilogy series remain the most memorable and fun to play. It's most likely nostalgia lol but I love feeling nostalgic about it.

I actually felt bad for N. And Ghetsis, that guy's a massive asshole. And Team Plasbad was pretty cool too.

I mostly like B/W better than the others because of how progressive they were, but yeah, Gens I-III (and their respective remakes) are unbridled awesomeness.

Not sure why everyone likes Black/White better, it wasn't bad at all but to me, Pokemon X/Y are the only Pokemon games that you can customize your Pokemon trainer for the first time in the series despite limited selection of clothing, colors, ect. but X/Y is of course on 3DS version making it the best Pokemon versions around [until Sun/Moon release of course] and was a step up from Black/White.

In the past few days I have been utterly hooked to Stardew Valley, which is my GOTY so far. And now I see that there is finally some gameplay footage of Mount&Blade: Bannerlord.

What a good time to be a PC gamer.

Bravely Second has by far the coolest method of continuing the game I've ever seen in any JRPG.

So, because it was in the cheap budget section, I bought LEGO Marvel Superheroes (previously played and had on XBOX 360) for Wii U, making it my first third party purchase for the Wii U.

In the mail, I'm also getting a Wii U Pro Controller and have a b-day present for my sis (a Wii U game she has wanted).

Yvetal is absolutely and objectively superior in every single way without a single shadow of doubt. Get Y; Xerneas is lame.

That one does look good, and so does Bannerlord. I'm going to try and get that game at launch.

I beat the 4th gym in Pokemon Black. Now I'm off to see that Zootopia movie a few of you were raving about.

Super Mario RPG exists, and the stuff with Rosalina in Super Mario Galaxy is actually pretty well done. Additionally the simplicity of Mario works for its systems, so yeah shit by anything else.

We both know I meant the standard "beat bowser, rescue woman, get leg over" plot. And referring specifically to plot, as opposed to making any argument (there isn't any) that Mario platformers would benefit from one (of course they wouldn't).

I'm thinking about installing Win10 on my brand new work PC (that i'll occasionally use for gaming). So, Windows 10. Is it better than Windows 7 by now? More optimized for 64bit? I'm mainly concerned about its performance versus Windows 7.

My dad was the happiest he had been in a long time the day he brought home a dachsund. I'm sure any type of dog would have been okay, but a small one that was able to curl up with him on the couch was something he cherished. And my dad was going through depression too after having to move to a no-name town to open up a plant where he had just about nothing to come home to.

Dachsunds have some specific needs though. I don't think they can go up and down stairs very well. But there are lots of smaller dogs that aren't too scrappy.

The awful three level stretch in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary of Assault on the Control Room (which I never liked), 343 Guilty Spark, and the granddaddy of lolBungieleveldesign, The Library, could suck out the soul of a newborn. This is my poor friend's first time through the initial Halo campaign and man, that guy was spent. As much as the Flood can be fun to shred through as a team, Bungie's constant utilization of them where least needed is aggravating. I remember finding them legitimately creepy in the original fifteen years ago, now I want nothing more than Halo Reach's method of the Flood. I remember Two Betrayals being better at least, yay.

Three moments I'll remember from that stretch we just played:

Being hopelessly lost in 343 Guilty Spark's rooms

"Wait, didn't we visit this room four times before?"

"At least I already played Cortana."

Ah yes, Trubbish. My wife made fun of that 'mon early on, but it's absolutely one of her favorites now.

So I'm playing Twilight Princess for the first time. So far it's pretty solid.

Twilight Princess remains and probably will always be my favorite 3D Zelda. The wolf parts are still crap but at least they really did cut out a bit of the flab. Kinda wish they'd cut it out completely to be honest.

Zootopia was a fun movie. Only saw it 'cuz a murder in my neighborhood prevented me from going home, but yeah, good movie.

For me it's the same if not better. It's worth upgrading for faster loading times alone.
