I have the game and have almost 9,000 in Fight Money (without doing Story/Survival mode yet). This is not even a full 24 hours. Round that up to 10,000, and multiply it by 10+ days and you will have 100,000 within a month, assuming one plays this regularly and, of course, wins their matches at least 50%-60% of the time (I would hope).
50 FM for each win sounds small, but they give you 100 sometimes (not sure what I did but maybe it was from a few Perfect rounds or Critical Arts wins), and every time you level up you get 1000-1500. And you level up even when you lose. And after 10-15 matches, you are leveling up no matter what. So you are getting periodic 1000-1500 boosts even if you are not a good player.
I'm not too worried about this whole unlocking scheme. They made the bar challenging enough but not sky-high "Olympian impossible" but they didn't make it Day Care easy either. By my rough estimate, if you play it regularly for a month, you will easily get 100,000 just playing SF like you normally do. I haven't even included the Daily Objectives that Capcom mentioned, which will give additional infusions of FM to your total (probably earned by sweeping 10 times or doing 10 dragon punches, etc).
And even if you are horrible at the game, I think you still get FM anyways if you are in a Casual lobby. If you want (I haven't tried this), you might even trade wins with a friend and still get FM. Whatever the case, I don't think reaching 100,000 is that impossible. To me this is all extra stuff anyways, and I'm earning fight money for future DLC characters down the line or new costumes. Believe it or not, I actually think the leveling up and unlocking is kind of fun. SF never had this before. I've played thousands of matches in SFIV and didn't get anything but a Rank number. Now I'm earning something with every one of my matches.
