People on NeoGAF are reporting they were able to get refunds in your situation, so I would try calling up Sony and seeing what's up there.

If they can't fix the online soon though, that will totally kill their vision of the game. And that's a huge shame. It's never good to see people out of work, and especially in a profession like game development which was likely their dream and not just a 9-5 job.
I agree, I'm hoping that they get this game completed with all the promised content soon enough too, but my assumption is right now they just want to get it to work, everything else can take a back seat. But yeah, that weather patch for example, whoo boy, I would love for that to actually release.
From what I am understanding, the issue with DriveClub isn't a PSN wide issue, it's an issue with Evo's netcode for the game, which is completely messed up. Which baffles me, because when you're developing a game that is as centered around the online social experience as DriveClub is, you'd think you'd catch issues with such a fundamental part of how it works.
